Until I actually played it, The World Ends With You.

I had heard and heard and heard about the game, but never found a copy, thus it just kinda faded from all memory at some points.

On another note,

Ooo, good choice. That game had the misfortune of being a PS2 JRPG during the year before the PS2 took off (i.e. in 2000, before Final Fantasy X released in 2001). It holds up better than most think.

IMO, if you want a similar game with better stuff in it (story, characters, etc.), play Devil Survivor instead, especially if you can get the Overclocked version on 3DS. That's just my opinion, though; there are people who think TWEWY is the best thing ever. (I'm an absolute non-fan of Nomura Tetsuya, so I'm pretty biased there.)

Beyblade games are always showing up in the used game bins. Played one on the Gamecube once, it was so bad I wiped it from my memory. But it keeps coming back.

The Devil Survivor series is an TRP (Tactical Role Player), it's gameplay is nowhere near as unique as TWEWY.

Not the same game play, perhaps, but there are definitely similarities.

*cue theme song from the old show*

"IT'S BEEEYBLAAAAAADE!"

You poor soul. I sympathize. I've got a few of those games lying about, though I don't think I've ever paid more than bargain bin prices.

Not quite as forgotten as Duel Masters, though.

Gungrave Overdose, which is one of the best action games ever made and its got the gameplay qualified for a Hellsing or Trigun game, if either are made
