Though there is a lot more reason to hope that they will tackle the other two of their top three challenges ... streams closer to broadcast time on a reliable published schedule, and broader device support ...

The thing is, I don't see VME not licensing for the UK so we may well continue to see certain series being locked out of the UK on CR. I have a feeling the new Sailor Moon series will be one of them.

I would also expect the poaching of the titles via VME to continue, but given the numbers poached and streamed in various series first on Anime-on-Demand and then on AnimaxUK, and given Funimation's current simulcast numbers, it seems at least reasonable odds that the majority of simulcasts are going to be new region availability rather than poached content.

Obviously preferable would be for Funimation to give Crunchyroll a package deal of shared streaming rights for all rights it ends up with outside of North America ... but when things are perfect you are either dreaming. dead and in heaven ... or overlooking some downside.
