Abuse comes in all shapes and forms. Even more so for...
...Men who feel emasculated. Women can drive Men to do many things. Not saying Men can't do the same, but Women definitely can Use their wiles in a detrimental fashion if and when they are wanting to.

But again, Yes. Abuse can be caused by Anyone, any gender, AGAINST any gender.

It does happen, it's just you're less likely to hear about it because it's emasculating in some weird sense.

How is it weird if a man feels emasculated? Ok, tell me how you feel when a woman walks in with a bigger chest than you. It would be the same if nobody wore pants, and this guy came in with a huge, full-on, erect dong.

I'd feel a little jealous, but also fascinated and resist wanting to touch them....in both instances.

This is.... Just... Fantastic

I used to have a supervisor who's wife beat on him. Back then, (20years ago), we just made fun of him. Now days people are waking up to spousal abuse, it doesn't happen as often to men, but it does happen. You shouldn't have to pay for your love with your bones and your flesh.

Do you think this is a real and serious issue? Do men really have to fear being assaulted by women or even raped by them?

I think it is a definite issue, as I could see it happening to me when I was younger. Back when I was very much introverted, and rarely socialized, pretty much anyone could walk all over me. Especially women.

Why? Please enlighten me on why anyone would let another person take advantage of you like that?

edit:
Question are you a masochist?

Kind of reminds me of the recent incident involving Jay-Z. If he had fought back he would have been labeled as a woman-beater, and he couldn't really involve the cops because it would pretty much ruin his reputation. When a man beats a woman he gets arrested but when a woman beats a man people just laugh it off... It doesn't really seem right does it?

Yes, I think it's a noteworthy issue that's all too often ignored. Something being less common and less talked about oughtn't somehow make it less of a travesty. I'd believe it pretty easily if I were to hear about a man being raped or assaulted by a woman. Considering that I'm capable enough to subdue some guys, and can certainly psychologically cow others, of course I can believe it.

I remember hearing a police officer talk about this somewhere before.

Some girl got this guy reeling drunk without him noticing, and then had sex with him.
Apparently it more common than you'd think, although I wouldn't really know,

It counts as rape because he wasn't in a frame of mind to make good decisions, especially if he got blackout drunk, and it can be bad because she could have HIV or something. Ignoring of course the entire, non-consensual sex with a person he didn't know thing. Last I heard rape is usually committed by a person the victim knows, so if a girl takes advantage of a drunk friend who didn't want her...

I don't know how often it happens, but I'm sure it happens.

I know a lot of guys who have been slapped during fights or flat out attacked. It is interesting to me that if a man did that to a woman, all hell would break loose and he'd be a labeled as a douche for the rest of his life. But if a woman does it, she is often times consoled as the victim for being "provoked to those means". I've seen it firsthand many times and I've even seen women brag about slapping their boyfriends. Loosing your cool and hurting another person because of it should never be okay, regardless of your sex/gender.

I have talked about this before and do have a few male friends irl and online who have been raped. One of them is still going through therapy on it as well. Abuse can happen to anyone, even ripped men who are pretty tough. It's pretty sad though to see how most of the people I know get made fun of for it, and it's pretty heartbreaking.

The way some people think of it is saddening, just as much as men always being the bad guy when it comes to defending themselves from women. Can't hit them but they can hit you. It really makes no sense to me.

Still, both genders can be abused by the opposite or same genders and raped as well. Most female on male cases though don't get reported or brought about by media as often as male on female cases.
