I've found they are a very interesting piece of biblical history, however to date we still do not know who created them or how they got into the Qumran caves.

What is everyone else's take on them?

I believe they are legitimate from what I have seen of them. Apparently, Google and Museum of Jerusalem are trying to replicate them for digital viewing.

Cool! As long as they're not adding things TO the scrolls themselves... I think that is cool! I say this because the Bible says you shall not add or take away from the Word!
