I have been using terago networks, high speed internet plan for past few years. It serves my purpose pretty well. It gives 20 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed and unlimited monthly transfer at a very fair price of about $ 100 per month. I use video streaming like youtube and play games online like fifa 14 without any lag issues.

Looked through this thread... Never loved my internet provider, but now I do O.o really feel sorry for some of you o.O

I pay around 50 $ pr month, for a stable 60/12. In theory there's a limit.. But it's fair use, and if you exceed it (which is hard) you normally get down prioritized nothing else.. And in case I need it, I can switch too 48/24 and 36/36. Takes a few minutes to adjust the speed though.

I used to have CenturyLink untill I started to have some problems with the connection. They wanted $85 just to come out and tell me if it was them or the apartment's wiring....
Dumped them for Comcast.... Had to fight with Comcast to get them to actually honor the deal they made with me....

They both had good speeds (for USA) as advertised but they F*CKING suck at customer service.

I'm currently in the market, actually. Anyone know some cheap internet around the US Southeast for some mild gaming and video streaming?

Also, how come my functional download speed is 120-140 kb/s?

For those of you that live in the middle of nowhere or have crappy download and/or upload speeds my heart goes out to you. Now I just need to wait for Google Fiber to get here so I jump onto their train.
