Goal of the game: say the best quote (serious or funny is welcomed)

rules:
1) first person (Me) writes down a quote (it can be one you made up yourself, one you like, song lyric, etc.)

2) 2nd person puts down a quote that they think is better (it does not have to be the same type or topic, ex: you can put a song lyric on love to combat a political quote on hardwork)

3) Next person decides which of the previous 2 is the better quote/saying/proverb/lyric/etc.,
-then puts down a quote they like that can possibly beat the winner of the previous.
- don't forget to copy the winning quote onto your post (also put a number next to it to show how long in play the winning quote has been in, so it's first win will have a 1, if it wins again it will be 2, again 3, and so on. New quotes that take the winning spot start at 1)

4) Next person repeats #3, and so on

5) you can mention your likes or dislikes of the previous quote/quotes, however make sure your quote in play marked

My quote:
"worrying won't stop the bad from happening, but it will stop the good from being enjoyed"

Edit: No one is really following part 3 so I'll start now.

Of the last 2 before me I choose:
''I like the stars, they try hard to display their radiance. Trying to let us know that they exist before they disappear. I admire that simple, honest wish.''

to be the winner, and I'll VS it with:

"Risk something, take back what's yours, say something that you know they might attack you for." (Linkin' Park - Hands Held High)

So for the next person:

''I like the stars, they try hard to display their radiance. Trying to let us know that they exist before they disappear. I admire that simple, honest wish.'' (1 Win)

V.S.

"Risk something, take back what's yours, say something that you know they might attack you for." (Linkin' Park - Hands Held High) (New 'challenger')

"Falling in love is not at all the most stupid thing that people do - but gravitation cannot be held responsible for it." - Einstein

Of course what We hear of and think of when asked about Einstein is His Academic prowess. But We tend to forget that, well if You read His quotes, humor was prevalent through them. Even through many of those We tend to remember simply for their Academic reasons.

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that one way or another.
