I think the perception of the question is vague, I understand why it's addicting, it isn't that difficult to understand, but no matter the psyche it gets me every time.... No matter when or why I go to amazon, I just always get more than I want/need, not saying it's a negative, but it isn't a positive... I guess I am saying Amazon is Chaotic Neutral and I am not sure that's a good thing....

So.. what? You buy things you don't want despite adverse consequences? Sounds like an addiction to me.

I don't drive. So I can't say it saves me gas from going shopping and what not, but it does save you time from going to various places and checking their inventory. I guess you can say it's comfortably convenient and affordable. Plus they have alot of departments. I mostly get clothes, anime and electronics. So it's pretty awesome.

You can find almost anything. If you're like me, you can just spend so much time looking for deals, and then you discover more things similar to whatever you're looking for. And then before you know it, you may have bought yourself 10 phone cases, each 99 cents, a very nice wig, and high quality bubbles. Just for the hell of it.

It's really easy to do gift shopping on Amazon too, you can find that obscure item for someone and if not, they help you out by giving you external sites things can be found on too. You don't have to worry about doing the shipping to the person yourself, they take care of all that too. I have only returned one thing in all the years I have shopped with Amazon. They make that easy too.
And when you get the free shipping , it's like you have hit the jackpot!

I'm not really addicted to Amazon much, but I do know it's a reliable site to shop.

I go to amazon, occasionally, for products X and Y (examples, variables.) However, I always seem to find a way,or feel I need to then get product Z, and maybe A, B, and C also... Does this happen to others? Often? Or is it just an addictive/OCD nature like the one I have?

I don't think Amazon is all that addictive compared to this other place...

If you live in the United States (edit: hm wait, you do... I guess you should think twice before clicking), do not click on the spoiler if you don't want to be exposed to some possible money-draining addiction

On that site, people are always, ALWAYS complaining and joking about buying stuff they don't need.

I check that darn site multiple times every single day out of sheer habit............ been doing so the last 10 years

It happens to other because it's so...Easy I guess. Also popular. I swear, I have to try to not go on Amazon and get stuff. Luckily my budget is keeping me but otherwise, I would be getting stuff from there all the time...Shopping online is addictive....

I get where you are coming from. However, I repress the urge or delay it at least by just adding everything to my wish list. It makes me feel good that maybe someday I'll actually buy what it is I want. But my wish list just seems to get longer and longer and never shorter… Shikata ga nai…

Not to mention the absolutely EPIC deals that You are sometimes able to come across...If You're QUICK...and if You're :LUCKY! I absolutely love Amazon. My only real complaint about them has nothing to do with personal service, but rather the CHARGING function on My Kindle Fire...

Foe the longest time. it worked and charged properly. But now, It''s all wonky and not charging properly...
