Toonami. Would rush home after school to watch Dragonball/Z, Gundam Wing, Zoids, Ronin Warriors, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, and probably some other shows I forgot about. Also, Toonami's promos were some of the best TV viewing I have seen.

I watched reruns of Astroy Boy and that other one about the white lion as early as I can remember. Pretty cool stuff. There were others like Remi and of course Ghibli movies like Totoro.

But it was definitely DB, DBZ and Saint Seiya what got me religiously hooked since a kiddo. Afterwards, it was just a matter of time until I found out about Akira, Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D and all the rest of the more modern goodies.

Shippuden has kept me really interested lately, and Death Note was what convinced my wife that anime ain't cartoons. We're now watching Attack on Titan, in my attempt to hook her to anime. Nothing else has worked so far.

Most likely my 1990s TV. I even watched anime before the Pokemon craze began in the 90s. Thanks to the CR or the internet, I can watch anime without having to record stuff with my VCR.

It pretty much started when I was still watching TV in middle school, and Naruto played frequently. I didn't care about the show and didn't know what anime was back then, but then I saw part of one of the 1st episodes (It was when Kakashi gave the bell test) and it got me hooked. I eventually caught up and watched the rest of the show. And eventually abandoned the TV and found Naruto Shippuden online. And have watched it and adapted to watching subbed anime from there on watching many other types of anime. Ever since then I've been into anime for as long as I can remember.

I was obsessed about Cardcaptors when I was a kid (and today I purchased a Sakura figure, childhood cycle complete!) But I used to watch Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Digimon... then it progressed to drawing them and googling anime art. I used to copy all the characters and draw them, (I had a tonne of 'how to draw manga' books) but never really understood they were from animations or who they were, I just liked the art style! Then when I realised it was all shows/ manga, I didn't know where to get access to them in the UK.

Then, about a year ago, I came across Elfen Lied by accident on Youtube and it showed me the anime light, followed by Death Note. I then found Crunchyroll, and voila! I'm here and trying my hardest to catch up with as much anime as I can!

Way back in the day my mom told me to pick out a magazine while we were standing in line at the grocery store. I saw Shonen jump (RIP) and thought it looked cool. So after i read it I asked if I could get a subscription and I subscribed to it. After a while I realized the manga I was reading had their own anime I started watching those (this was way before it was easy to get anime on the internet) It took me hours just to find a site where I could download episodes eventually I said screw it and ordered a bunch of bootlegged fansub dvds off of ebay and watched them with my friends still have them too but now Ive got crunchyroll which satisfies all my needs most of the time

Doraemon - the first anime I watched at the age of 3 at my home country. At that age, the exaggerated art style, character personality and emotions, and the humor caught my eyes. Then, I started watching DBZ, Shin Chan, and Rurouni Kenshin every week, particularly on Sunday mornings. Not only did the aforementioned reasons ignited my love for anime, but my warm childhood memories as well.

Even YouTube exposed me to several new/unfamiliar anime whenever I listen to anime music or watch AMVs. Whenever they appear, I always take the opportunity to check them out, particularly to boost my.anime knowledge. I've met and befriended numerous otakus on YT, so they've pretty much got me into various anime by looking at their profile avatars, videos, wallpaper (which is unfortunately taken away), and even comments.
