If it's your child, you would love it no matter what.

I'd hate to have a deformed child. That's when adoption comes in handy.

well, it is indeed sad to have your own offspring as deformed... but it doesn't mean we must cry and weep over that stuff.. sure, it's kinda disgusting... but it wasn't the baby's fault... just tend to the baby's needs and make him/her feel special

I'm suprised you all left out developmental deformities. Not every deformed child comes from the womb with an obvious malformation. There are plenty of conditions that steadily worsen with time. Whether it be a small tumor that grows with time or a discoloration that inevitably covers the body- should these people be looked down upon later in life? Of course that's not right, and it wouldn't be right to abanndon a child over the same ordeal.

Some of these conditions are not even noticable until puberty. Tubular breast developmental deformities are a prime example (that both happen in men and women).

If they're only physically handicapped then sure, it's all the same. If they're mentally retarded then... UGH!!!!

I mean you can still have a Steven Hawkings with someone who's handicapped or deformed but with someone retarded you're stuck with... well a retard. You need to be at least be able to learn to be human.

(Note: I know there are lots of situations where mentally handicapped people struggle and have inspirational stories but I'm just bias and hateful towards tards. I treat them like zombies. They can't think and if they touch you, you'll get infected with the uglies.)
