I think it's a good idea if Crunchyroll were to start expanding it's anime database and allow it's user to create an anime/manga list in which they could register all of the anime they have watched and rate it.
I know for sure I would use it and yes it would take on myanimelist.net but I figure Crunchyroll can do a pretty good job with that, I personally don't really like myanimelist; yet, I use it because it's the best one out there that's currently being updated.

I think it's a really functional idea.

pff, add visual novel lists as well! xD

Well if I had it my way and had the power to do so, I would implement the manga/anime list from MAL and the visual novel list from vndb. Crunchyroll would probably be the only anime site I would visit if it had all of that :P

But the thing is, these sites like MAL and vndb probably don't want to give their data and their idea to another site just because it would be better for the user base, the only way that it'd be implemented; is to get Crunchyroll to make their own database surrounding anime (they got some of it already, but not as much as MAL) and improve, or they could buy off MAL and vndb, like all the big companies do T_T Ex. (Google, Facebook, etc.)

well, queue isn't that good, its only purpose is to have an queue of what you're watching on Crunchyroll. You don't get a list that says that you've watched all of "these" anime and you don't have a list that shows what anime you are "going" to watch, that's the beauty of MAL or Vndb :P

If I were to put it in MAL terms then Queue would be:

MAL vs CR
Watching = Queue
Plan to watch = ?
on hold = ?
dropped = ?

They could but I would still stick with MAL. I prefer it to the other sites and I have invested enough time that I don't want to switch.

I would raise My hand in favor. Like a full A-Z list of both Anime, and for We All-Access members, Manga as well. Just being practical.

I don't know if it was just in the UK, but I remember that when I registered here they had such a feature. It was a bit weird because you could go over the limit in "episodes watched" yet you wouldn't be able to revert it afterwards, so in spamming clicks to get to 26/26 I went up to 30 and it was stuck like that, lol.

I think when I came here the feature was no longer available, or they just removed it punto.

queue is good for watching anime on devices though.

but would love it if CR bring back WatchList with a comprehensive features like you listed.

Hmm... unless they somehow let me transfer my MAL stuff over, I wouldn't take the time to make a whole new list on CR if they implemented one (that is like 700 titles ) so IF they brought one out, I would need that feature, otherwise I would ignore it.

I remember watchlist and I live in the United States so I think it was released everywhere.

I also remember achievements but it has been a long time since I got one so I don't know if they're still around >.>

I remember there being a favorites list on CR at one point. But last time I was looking I couldn't find it, so I guess it's gone now? I like to reserve my queue for unwatched shows, but it's also nice to keep track of your favorites for when you're in a "comfort food" sorta mood.
