Honestly, i would be 1000 times more pissed if i had a facebook or was well known around the area, luckily i deleted my facebook long time ago and i stopped talking to nearly everyone in this town, so it didn't bother me as much as i would've someone else, and you should question my mother's taste in friends wtihout a doubt haha, also i'm not a teenager, that happened a few days ago, my mom's reaction was basically dead silence for a few hours, and then she said i should just let it go since her friend is constantly depressed and got cheated on, also please don't be sorry, your words were not overboard at all

Sorry about the teenager thing. I considered myself a teenager until I turned twenty (it got in my head that ages starting with "1" and a second number higher than "2" equals teenager), so it was by habit.

You don't have to be sorry, i can see how one would consider a 19 year old still a teenager, i mean, 2 years ago i was just a 17 year old, i'm just used to looking at people's mental age rather than physical, i know a lot of 30 year olds that act like teenagers, and teenagers that are pretty mature

Not that it's important, but... how would nine-teen not be teen-age?

Are we taking everything out of context and just focusing on the meaning of the words ? if that's the case, then sure, 19 is a teen-age.

It's funny that you call me on that when you did the same with aeb0717's reply, "I'd be furious if a "friend" of mine did that to my teenage son."

She clearly was referring to the actual age there, as opposed to her 30 (physical) year old son with the teenage mind.

It gives the impression you don't want to be thought of as a teenager, like it's a bad thing or something.

Anyway, I didn't mean offense by that question, I just thought it seemed a strange kind of statement to make, since it seemed completely contradictory to me. Perhaps I missed *your* change of context the first time through; in my defense, that was a rather nasty run-on sentence to parse.

You may be mature for your age, but you're still a teenager. You're still figuring out what kind of person you are.

I was pretty mature at 19, but not even 8 years later I've learned, grown (mentally) and changed a lot. So yeah, you are just a teenager still.

It's not an insult, it's not a crime, it just is what it is. You're a teenager so long as you're in your teens, friend.

I completely agree. Teens are teens from 13 until 19. 20, you're an adult. Perhaps not mentally, but you are one nonetheless.

I'm 20 and I still wouldn't call myself an adult, while I feel I'm mature even for my age I still do stupid things and have a lot to learn.

Try to fit either, or both of them into a Juicer and consider making "Mom and Daddy smoothie". Do NOT try at Home!
