Hey guys. was just wanting to know what communities thought was on real tattoo's based on anime's. Personally i love tattoo's and have a few generic ones. I plan on getting a sleeve incorporating a mix of characters from Evangelion and Fate Stay / Fate Zero. Was also going to get Rin Tohsaka's command spell symbol tattoo on my hand.

Anyone have opinions on tattoo's in general? Is it lame to get anime based tattoo's? is it cool? If you have any yourself, are you happy with them?

Cheers!

Personally, I'm never getting a tattoo. But I do find some of them cool. Anime? Why not...

I dont see a problem with it, I dont have any anime ones but if you like a show enough... why not?

If they look good, I like them. Bad-quality tattoos of all types bother me.

pretty cool imo.

but i'm scared of needles, would never voluntarily expose myself to hours of getting pricked.

Hmm, it's your choice exactly. Just be content with the anime based tattoos you are going to put on your body. Just don't cry or anything if it turns out wrong. I support your choice.

I don't have any tattoos, but one of my childhood friends irl have one, but it is a sakura flower on her back. i think it looks sensual and cool. So my views on it, I will get one prolly?

Who cares what anyone thinks? Your tattoos are for you. If it's something you're passionate about, or something you really enjoy, and you feel like getting a tat of it, do it. My only fandom tattoo is "Mischief Managed," but I wouldn't mind more. I do agree with the quality of the actual tattoo being important. I've only gotten two tats state-side and I wish I hadn't, or I should say, I wish I'd looked into where I was getting them done more. The ones I got in Okinawa are of way better quality.

I actually have one. Its Zeros mark (vampire knight). Its on my wrist. I loved it at first, but the more I look at it, the more Im like eh..it coulda been done better. Then I actually have the Kingdom Hearts logo on my shoulder. Im definitely going to add to it. Probably end up with a back piece

Awesome, if i see someone with a videogame or anime tattoo i immediately know that we have something in common. And can converse with them much easier. If i had a good job/career i would definately get some.

I have multiple anime related tattoos. I love them (: if it's what you like then there shouldn't be a problem. Be proud of the art you get though. Think it through.

I think you should get tattoos of things you enjoy, so if you like anime why not? I've also thought about getting tattoos of my favourite animes, but I don't think I can go through with it.

As with any tattoo, I wouldn't do it unless you're really sure you want to have that design on your skin, potentially for decades.

If your love of the series fades, will you still think the symbols look good? (my cousin has an neat Triforce tattoo which looks nice on its own)

There's a guy who comes into the shop where I work who has something which looks very like Scar's tattoos from FMA. Now that also looks impressive no matter its origins...
