Hate it when they're not obvious.

I'm an unapologetic trap fan; whats not to like?! They add fun & plenty of comic opportunities. There's the running gag of the one person in the group to whom the trap has not been revealed, who never seems to get the innuendos & double entendres; & the angst of one who knows the trap but still feels the attraction! Variety is the spice of life they say, so I say Bring on the Traps!! As to a personal involvement with a trap, why not?!

I think traps are quite interesting characters. They provide a fun and unique dynamic that works quite well in most series. Some of them are rather... confusing though..... I still don't know what exactly I should make of Totsuka Saika. I mean, sometimes I wonder.....

However, generally speaking, I certainly wouldn't date or marry a trap (knowingly, anyway). Well, perhaps a reverse trap. I've always been drawn to reverse traps as well as bifauxnen in general.

That might be an odd preference in itself, actually. Perhaps even odder than a fondness for traps, now that I think about it... but i'll try not to think too hard lest I confuse myself even further lol

Traps are interesting to say the least. LOL

I find them to add a bit of spice to the plot and the characters around them.

The only character ever that made me wish the series would end in a yaoi route...

I'm not really a fan, unless they have a good backstory and reason for being the traps that they are. This is why my most favorite anime trap is:

I wouldn't say that the presence of a trap makes me like an anime any more or less, but I have no problem with them if they're used for good effect. I almost always laugh when a trap is revealed as such, especially because I'm usually really bad at spotting them. I think SNAFU is the only anime in recent memory where I recognized the trap before he was revealed, but even that was more of a gut feeling than anything else.

After these two shows:
I choose to believe that traps really are all actually females until visual proof has been provided to the contrary.
I get less confused that way.
