NO, Do not get the Premium membership, after extended up the app starts to exit it self out and skip over anime, getting stuck in fast forward and more. Customer service is a lie, took a full year just to get a responds out of them when there was issues with the PS3 counterpart. They didn't even fix it, all the said was well sorry about that but the updated version for the PS4 should be better, I HAVE A PS3, GIVE ME AN UPDATE FOR THAT! Whats more is that the new app for the PS4 was worst. If you want an update I guess you have to wait for the next gen consoles. As stated the Apps for the PS3/PS4 are garbage. Other devices alright, but unless you hook your computer to a TV, you'll have to be content with the 7 inch screen and what ever you got as computer monitor.

XBox works fine.

Chromecast works fine.

PC works fine. Duh.

Works fine accessing from my Nook.

I suppose its a good thing I never got a ps3.

I've been a premium member for about 1.5 years.

Roku 3 works fine. (Except I know some Roku users would like HD.)

My worst experience was with PC.

If you like seeing episodes as close to live as you can probably get, then that's a reason you might want to go premium.

You also get more access to archived shows / episodes from premium. I know I've appreciated that a few times.

seems like this problem is only related to you my friend. I have no problem with any of my devices. also as you said The new app for PS4 Its new, there are going to be bugs. No new app comes out completely bug free. bugs are something that get worked on over time. Just because it happens to you, doesn't mean it happens to everyone else, thus its hard to pin point such bugs. simply let support know, so they can deal with it.

I've had no problems at all so far, PC, ipad, iphone, kindle, xbox, ps3, ps4... I've used each of these recently with the premium membership. The only problem I've had a couple times is that if I pause on the ps4 it'll hang up or something. I just close the app and reopen it and voila! Sorry it's not working for you atm though
