So that's the message I get now after watching some Naruto on my account at my friends house that has Chromecast.

I do not have Chromecast, nor do I own it, or have ever owned it or ever put it on this computer. I reiterate: This computer does not have it installed or ever had it installed, Therefore I can't get rid of it, or tell google to not have it enabled, so i don't know why its bothering to look for it, except for the one time I used the account at a Friends house.

I am trying to watch Crunchy Roll through Google Chrome on my PC like I normally used to. Note that IE seems to work, but I would like to use Chrome, cause IE well, yea...

If I understand this correctly, you used your account at friend's house, but none of your equipment was involved. (If you had used your computer, then it would have needed the Google Cast extension installed, which would mean you still have it).

First, if the CR web player in Chrome is still showing the cast button, make certain it is off, and not on.

While I would certainly expect the button to either be off or disappear if your Chrome installation didn't have the Google Cast extension, it could certainly cause problems if it were still present and toggled on.

If all else fails, despite the fact you don't have a Chromecast, try installing the Google Cast extension. This should allow you control over the cast process.

For some reason the quote selected isnt working for me ;/

"If I understand this correctly, you used your account at friend's house, but none of your equipment was involved. "
Correct.

"(If you had used your computer, then it would have needed the Google Cast extension installed, which would mean you still have it)."
I did not, and therefore this is incorrect as you assumed.

"First, if the CR web player in Chrome is still showing the cast button, make certain it is off, and not on."

The Web player doesn't even load up, there's no button to toggle on or off, its just empty space the color of the background, where a black video player box should be.

Re: "Chrome installation didn't have the Google Cast extension" it was never installed on this machine there is no options for it. If it is present and toggled on, well I find that nearly impossible, and also invisible.

Re: "try installing the Google Cast extension" I did that, adn there was no options to stop casting. at elast i didnt find any, mostly cause it wouldnt let me start casting since it didnt find a device.

I wish I had a good answer for you, but I haven't encountered anyone else that had a similar issue.

If you are over at your friend's house again, try logging into your account again there and make certain that your last action before you sign out again is to make certain the web player is set to not cast to their Chromecast.

If you have access to another computer using Chrome, try using it with your account and see if it has the same issue. If not, then you will have at least confirmed it is a problem specific to your browser installation.
