As of the last update, it seems cr has become painfully slow, as in a minute of buffering for 5 seconds of video. Before I could often watch them at fixed hd all the way through without seeing it buffer once. Even if it did stop, it was usually just a fluke that went away after adjusting the glitchy video scroll bar.

If I go back to auto streaming quality, it just stays at the lowest the entire time, which is unwatchable in my opinion. The only thing that has seemed to affect this is logging in and out, which will buy a couple minutes max of uninterrupted streaming with fixed quality on, which makes me think it's cause by a glitch and not a connection issue.

This is with the recent v 2.30 app, on an iPad Air, ios 7.1.1, over wifi which gives no problems to all other downloads.
Anyway, I'll cross my fingers and hope this gets fixed soon.

Glad I'm not the only one. It's a shame I can't watch anything, because ios is the only platform I watch crunchyroll ... So it's kinda useless.

Have you guys tried a hard reboot of your AppleTVs? (i.e. unplugging it for a few seconds) That fixed all the buffering and low quality video problems I was experiencing with my appleTV.

iPad Mini sporadically works, as does my iPhone. However, my desktop Mac seems to have no issues whatsoever. I don't know what to make of this.

i had the same problem but how i fixed it was: turning off the wifi (on ipad), turn ipad off, turn it back on, and turn wifi back on (again on ipad) then stream (on CR) and that seemed to help
hope that help
