If you have tried it three times and didnt like it, then it isn't for you. Why would you try a fourth time?

I didn't like Bebop either -.- For me it was the characters, not that it's an episodic anime.

Just because it won't take me more than a couple days of my life to see it, and World Cup is on in the background at the same time, and I figure I should watch it to formulate a proper opinion, and I wanna see what all the fuss is about, and lots of nice Bepop shirts pop up on TeeFury that I might buy someday, and I've gotten interested in space westerns since playing WildStar, and it's a classic I should probably check out as an anime fan, and...

...lots of reasons.

I do not understand, nor will I ever understand, the logic behind forcing oneself to watch anime just to be able to claim to have watched it.
Especially to watch most or all of it in one sitting. You should have better reasons for wanting something; and to insist on watching every anime just because it's anime is senseless. Either the show appeals to you or it doesn't. It's one of my favorite series of all time, it always will be. Still I would never recommend it to someone if it wasn't the type of thing they'd like.. I've never recommended it to anyone I know really, to any family members or friends who aren't really into animation. You have to be invested in the characters and care about the story, to be able to absorb a show like Cowboy Bebop. There isn't much I can say if you don't find it appealing and at the 5th episode became bored, why continue?

So, I'm going to try to watch it through this weekend.

I also have given up on Cowboy Bebop three times. I don't remember how many episodes in I got--probably three, and basically I just didn't care what happened next and didn't care what happened to the characters--those are the things that make me most want to continue watching shows. While sometimes there is something else that keeps me going, that didn't happen for me with this show either.

Also, I did see the movie, but it was with a group of friends, on a tiny tv, and not much of anyone actually paying attention to it. I only remember that I was there kind of watching it, but I remember nothing about the movie at all.

I don't feel especially compelled to try it again. I might be missing out (there have been shows I stopped watching, then picked up again based on reading more opinions about them, and was glad I did; but I've not yet been been convinced to go back to Bebop for a fourth try!

I'm not "forcing" myself. I want to watch it.

I stopped watching One Piece only a few episodes in because I found it silly and boring, but once I got into the good stuff, it quickly became one of my favourite series. I'm giving Cowboy Bebop another go because, like with One Piece, I may have given up too soon.

And so far, I'm liking the new stuff I haven't seen before.

I'm enjoying the episodic nature of the show--which really starts at about episode 6, which I never got to--because I'm left wondering where they're going to go and what they're going to do next. It's like the next "arc" starts and ends in a single 22-minute span. Nothing feels drawn out, yet the characters' pasts are always lingering in the back of my mind and give me something concrete to look forward to seeing.

I would've stopped watching it again if I wasn't enjoying myself. But I am.

I think it's an excellent anime. However, there are dozens of anime I would rather rewatch than Cowboy Bebop.

It could just not be your type of show, which is totally okay, you know.

Lucky for you, the latter episodes really start to flesh out the characters more.

Tbh though, I think I was mostly interested in the show because of Faye.

This disappoints me so. It's brilliant. But to each their own. Cowboy Bebop might be the juiciest peach on the tree, but not everyone likes peaches.

Watch it 2 episodes per two days.

Day 1: Episode 1 & 2
Day 3: Episode 3 & 4
Day 5...

I have a question for you: Have you tried watching Bleach and or Naruto? Do you like either one? This will help me figure your tastes.

I never liked it very much myself. I probably watched about half of the episodes and didn't get very much out of them.

Honestly I think the cult classic phenomena surrounding the show is only due to the lack of diverse types of anime that were available at the time in the west. But that's just my opinion.

I suggest to wait out until you feel like you want to watch it. Some shows are the kind that you would only enjoy if you are in the mood to watch them.
