I'm really enjoying this show, sure the first two episode were a bit odd, but now I'm really enjoying it. The characters are good and the mobile suit designs are great. Its Tominos work and its really good work. The pacing has picked up and the story has my attention. I'm glad I didn't drop it.

Episode 4 is really where things started coming together for me. The show is really slow on info on what's going on and some things didn't quite make sense. I'm expecting though that most of those things will make sense later on.

If I was Aida, I would try to move on regarding Captain Cahill's death. I mean, he's not going to come back unless he survived that previous battle. Anyways, the latest episode was decent, not too special though.

I'm actually kinda impressed by Bell for the way he was piloting that mecha and the risks he is taking. I think there's a lack of trust between him and Aida but hopefully that will change soon.

Sadly my attention span was not as existent as it should have been during this episode, so the story was kind of lost on me for a bit.

But I am enjoying this show. At first, my feeling was, "It's goofy but I like it." Now it's more like, "It's goofy and I like it." lol

Liked the lastest episode with Bell pulling that move on the lieutenant and his piloting and pulling a Turn A with the beam sabers but seriously Aida needs to get over cahill already

I guess I'm in the minority because I really hated episode 4. Why was he fighting his own people again? All he had to do was take out Klim's suit and the battle would have been over. I just don't understand Bellri's motivation. It was a pretty good fight, but it shouldn't have happened. I am aware that the Capital Army is a mystery to Bellri but he has no reason to distrust them, unlike the pirates who have attacked his home at least three times already. Maybe he's just stupid.

I'm hoping this improves. So far, this is the worst Gundam series I have ever seen. I'll try a few more episodes. But, I'm likely to drop this.

That kind of makes him into a monster who has no qualms about killing soldiers on his own side for a chance at information they might not even have. (They only mention what their captain found out about the Capital Army after the battle.)
edit: The reason I keep focusing on his motive is because that is the one thing Tomino is really good at in my eyes. When it came to his characters, you knew why they were fighting, most of the time he and the other writers beat you over the head with that message, but Bellri is just a contusing mess. I really hope he hasn't lost his touch in this respect.

The entire anime is a confusing mess.

I thought it was a mess when they willingly let the capture girl operate the G-Self with them in it, I thought she was a prisoner?

I still can't understand the world setting and what's happening between the factions.

I also have problems with Bellri keeping fighting his people. I don't think he is as good as Kira in disarming them, it's the matter of time before he blows up one of them in the name of gathering info.

Episode 6

I'm glad I decided to rewatch episode 5 before watching this new one. Everything actually makes sense now lol. I'm really feeling this show now.

Sadly Bellri does not yet know for whom he should Gundam, and this episode only makes it worse for him. (But who didn't see that ending coming.) But hopefully this will somehow make him better in Aida's view of him. In a way, I suppose she's not alone anymore. We'll see how that goes.

I'm guessing this is all setting up for when he eventually does join the Amerian army. I don't see anything good happening if he does go back to the Capital.

Raraiya almost gets a bit of oxygen deprevation again. Hopefully her memories will come back within the next episode or two. She can't just be saying "Chuchumy" all the time. I'm curious to see if she eventually gets her own Gundam, or if they'll go to that place where the G-Self was made (where they figured she was from).

Also, a bit of supernatural, Newtype-y action during the re-entry sequence. Always cool.

It doesn't make sense because Bell is a flying contradiction, he's a traitor to his own organization and get sad about the people he killed, would it made him feel better killing teammates he didn't know? This has to be the worse Gundam pilot ever, everything he do doesn't make sense, I'm still confused about what's going on. I rather just watch Gundam Age again.
