Do you have a "happy" place? Whether in your mind or some location in real life where you feel calm and at peace. Is it brought on by anything? How would you describe it?

Depends on what it is, if it's a day to day annoyance i just think of people that can't afford a meal or stuff like that, people going through actual problems in life, it calms me down almost instantly and makes me feel like an ungrateful brat.

Behind a locked door with my sound cancelling headphones playing jazz music.

Especially nice with my lights off but my TV on standby because it puts a low blue light in my room, really creates a nice mood.

I have to agree with the guy above me, the bed is probably the comfiest, happiest and most relaxing place there is. Unless it's a monday.

I don't have a special spot, but i feel very relaxed and happy sitting out side just listening to some music. It's a very easy way for me to just forget about everything and lay back.

As I look distantly, I see a beautiful city tangled with nature's roots. I look up and I see the sun's rays going through the leaves. I close my eyes and just lay my back on the trunk. I feel the breeze and hear the distant noise of the busy city. That's always the happy place I think of when I feel really dreamy.

Honest answers.
Cemeteries, they're really peaceful.
When I meditate
Candle lit rooms / Dark rooms in general.
Nature / The Outdoors.

And then this.

Actually, there is! It's this little weird spot down by a local Park. You can go all the way in the back and after walking through some really high grass, it opens up to this little Creek...Looks like the place hardly ever gets visited. But, I did find an old lawn chair back there the VERY FIRST time I located the spot, so I assume some People know of it. I've often taken a walk back there with My manga on Days off and made a Day of it. Even brought a little fishing pole, and pulled for some Crawdads. It's nice.

Two places: 1) There's a a part once you get to the bottom of the bridge. Its a hassle going there because I could only walk there and it takes a while. Plus, a few come around. Oh well. Its so peaceful where I usually read or shoot some hoops to clear my mind. 2) My room where I play put the fans on blast, the music low, and read my manga.

I do, first let me say I really like this question/thread, it is a nice change of pace, and very positive...so thanks for asking it.

I guess my happy place would be a really comfy chair, with my feet up and listening to Olafur Arnalds( beautiful music), and having my cat a few inches from me snoozing.
Not thinking of anything stressful, just letting the music envelope me, and me immersed in the way the music is making me feel.

I guess a second happy place would be outside under a shade tree and just watching and listening to birds go about their tasks, and enjoying the sights and sounds of just pure nature.

My last happy place would be watching my favorite Hockey team "live on the ice" and caught up in the excitement of that experience.

I prolly can think of more, but for now I am content with those happy places.
