The worst are the ones who think they're so smart that they're above stupid.

Speaking as a stupid, ignorant person, I find this thread extremely offensive.

I actually thought it was 52 until I paid attention and redid my work.

Just goes to show that people are stupid until they actually think. Studies show that people with high IQs are no exception apparently.

Everyone can and probably does do stupid things every now and then...that is what makes us human. Stupid people make the world go round...I love them. The world would not be as good a place without them.

I am pretty sure I am one of them. Ahaha.... Seriously though, I don't mind as long as they are nice. If they aren't hurting anyone or themselves then why does their "stupidity" have to do with me?

Also, one more thing. Said by Shakespeare; "A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool."

I'm sorry this has offended you but if your're the type of person that would get a McDonald menu tattooed on their arm or 'Yolo' on their forehead then I'm not sorry and you are very stupid and should find this offensive. but if you're not that type of person then you shouldn't find this offensive because you're not either stupid or ignorant.

This is the funniest thread I have ever posted in.
If everyone admitted that were no smart people. Only people that that learn more than others we would be better off.

I've never come across a truly stupid person. If you're capable of learning, you're not stupid, even if it takes more effort for you than it does for others. As a tutor, I see the word "stupid" thrown around as an excuse far too often. If you feel like putting in the effort to learn isn't worth your time, that's fine; I'm not going to judge you on your interests. It's when people say "I can't" that rattles me. I get that some people are better at logical thinking than others, but that's not stopping anyone from accumulating enough experience to make up for that. There are billions of "stupid" people out there who can completely blow me out of the water when it comes to a topic they've actually invested some time and effort into. Everyone is smart in one way or another.

As for ignorance, everybody has it. To lack ignorance is to be omniscient. There's nothing wrong with not knowing something, and there's nothing wrong with not wanting to know something, as long as your lack of knowledge isn't hurting anyone. Everyone's interested in something, and will gravitate towards building a knowledge base related to their interests, given the chance. Personally, I welcome and celebrate the fact that people can be so different from one another. It's impossible to know everything anyway, so it's a little pushy to expect people to be knowledgeable in areas they have no predilection for.
