While i am excited about this game, i am worried that most games will just end up into high profile charging in 4 man assasinations style rather than stealth. I played too much games in co-op to know that most co-op games with easy to kill enemies like this tend to devolve into charge straight ahead into enemy objective unless there are optional objectives that require stealth or automatic desync when detected to keep the co-op turning into a massacre every damn game.

Through it will be awesome, if all 4 players want to go stealth

I'm sure you could find people who would prefer stealth over high profile combat, hey there's people here who'd prefer stealth over combat unless it necessary. I'm one of them. I have a couple of friends who have also pre-ordered the game so we're all looking forward to the release

Also can't wait for AC:U. I can't decide if I'm going to get it for PC or PS4 though...... Upgrading my PC to a high enough level to run the game well would cost probably about as much as a PS4, but I still mean to get a PS4 at some point soonish..........Gah.
Why can't I have more money? :(

I know how you feel man, I have a PS4 and I wish I had the money to build a decent PC, but I'd say get it on the PC, because you'll get better graphics and frame rate than on a PS4. But if you have friends who have a PS4 and are also getting AC:U and you don't really care for graphics and frame rate much then get it on the PS4. Really it's whatever you'd play games most on.

Just to get one thing straight, the co-op includes an Open World experience with friends... right?

From what I've seen I can't say for sure, I remember in one of the videos the dev mentioned that you can only do some Brotherhood mission with other players. This would lead you to believe that co op is only for missions and therefore not available during free roam, but I highly doubt that that is the case, because it would be a waste to only have co op during missions. This has probably been cleared up in one of their videos but I haven't been following them too much so I'm not sure. Hope this more or less answered your question. :)

That's what I've been hearing as well, but others claim that it's an open world co-op, so at this point I don't know who to believe.

Love the entire AC franchise, I preorder each one that's announced and have a ritual near the launch of the new one where I play the older games in order up until the new one is released.

So Yes I'm a big fan of them all and I can't wait for AC Unity, not too keen on Rogue though, but might get just for the sake of having it xD.

I await to fight with you my fellow brothers and sisters!

Holy mother of god. I am playing it, and can someone explain to me.....WHAT THE HELL is that horrifying frame rate? At max 30fps, usually always around 25, and when there are a lot of NPCs, combat is almost impossible! You can`t even move properly when there are large crowds of NPCs around you. The only time I ever achieved a stable fps rate above 30 was when, in a mission, there were no NPCs at all. That was a huge letdown. Such a promissing game, ruined by such a ridiculous problem. I hope they can patch that problem with an update soon!

Sounds like typical console AC to me (I'm merely assuming you're playing console version, mind) Every single AC game I've played has had serious issues with framerate- you'd think after this many games Ubisoft would get their damn act together... especially with their much-vaunted 'next-gen capabilities.' This is why I'm playing PC when it get's released over here.
Oh and-

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

Indeed, I am playing the PS4 version. And that is precisely what angers me Randompyrate. They go ahead and make promisses they don`t keep, especially regarding FPS rates. I am starting to get very annoyed by this, and doubting Ubisoft about everything they say about their games.
Also, HOLY F*CK THAT IS SCARY AS SHIT!

All platforms are having framerate issues. some pc users with high end systems fare better, but its a pc issue as well, regardless. the AC games ive played in the past on my ps3 had no noticeable issues for me. They seemed to have dropped the ball on Unity though.

Well guess it's not just my PC that is having problem with it since i am pretty sure i have the recommended spec and still having frame rate problem. Other than that, i am liking it Co-op are fun since now that combat is actually hard, "rather than spam counter and enemies die" Creed so people are actually doing stealth althought i still do see a few Leeroy here and there. Another major annoyance .... fucking companison app. THERE IS A REASON WHY I AM PLAYING ACU AND NOT MOBILE PHONE GAMES DON'T LOCK SHIT OUT AND FORCE ME TO PLAY A MOBILE APP TO GET THEM.

PC version's having issues as well? Well, damn. Thinking on it, Black Flag wasn't the smoothest runner for me either- but that had some rather impressive options in the graphics menu which I was determined to use..... Meh. Guess I'll be cranking Unity down a few notches.

Just google image 'assassins creed unity bug'. I think Kotaku hosted those 3 pics actually.
That middle one, though. It's like some twisted vampire horror.

Unity is becoming notorious for its graphics requirments. So many people are building a new computer for it when they just built one for example my brother rebuilds his com every year making it way better than before he makes alot of money so he can easily built a very epensive machine and even he doesnt meet all the requirments for it.

Plus the fact that it only gets a 30 fps on the ps4 and xbox one is hilarious though those are just lowergrade computers.
I'm no Assassin's Creed fan but for those of you that are I would suggest save ur money for a new com because only playing at 30 fps is inhuman.

Do you like that Assassin's Creed gets a new game every year or would you rather wait a couple of years for a definitive version?

I don't mind waiting 2-3 years for a new game, so long as it's 'definitive' as you say. And bug-free, relatively speaking.
Started installing on PC today- it's on 4 damn discs! Paris better be massive.
*Edit*- correction; 5 discs...
