The world itself is proof that there was some sort of "god/creator", whether he/she/it is still here or not is impossible to tell. No, the bible is not evidence that he is still here, and no, the big bang theory is not evidence that he isn't.

The origin of the bible itself doesn't have enough proof behind it to tell whether it's a real passed down story or written text. Christianity itself has no hard evidence, just things that help back its hypothesis up. Same goes with every other religion.

The big bang theory is stating that an atom started the universe. That contradicts itself because then where did the atom come from? How was the atom created?

But even after all that you can question the same thing with god. How did he come into existence? Do we have to accept the statement that he's just been there already and he started everything? Every idea brought up contradicts itself. "How did the universe come into existence?" and, "is god real or was he ever a thing?", are two questions that humans are to ignorant to handle.

It should be logical to know that every human can't answer those questions truthfully because they don't have enough information/evidence to back up their answer. You can have what Christians call "faith" and believe as much as you want that there is, but in reality it's impossible to tell. That is the final conclusion, good day.

Hi,

Since this is being talked about over in http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-847063/is-god-real, I've gone ahead and closed this as a dupe. But please feel free to continue the discussion over there!
