Has anyone seen La Corda D'Oro, and the new Blue Sky?
I'm wondering whether I should watch Blue Sky. I binge-watched Primo and Secundo Passo a while back, and I'm wondering whether this new one is worth watching.
Apparantly it happens years later and doesn't include the same characters?
It was bad enough that the series didn't tell us who Hino ends up with... and I don't think I can bear to watch Blue Sky if it doesn't resolve that for me.
I'm pretty confused.

Ever since Arcana Famiglia, I stay away from Italian-titled anime.

It doesn't look good anyway.

it is not bad, if you like classical music go for it.

Yeah I loved La Cordo D'oro Primo and Secundo Passo but Blue Sky doesn't really do it for me. I kind of stopped watching around episode 5 because up to then there was no reference to any of the old characters and I don't really like a lot of the boys' personality on the show. I didn't finish the series so maybe it gets better but to me its not really worth the time

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. It was bad enough that the last episode of Secundo Passo focused on unimportant new characters....
Guess I'll have to find the manga and see how the story really ends!

Pretty meh show overall. I find some of the music relaxing but the writing and characters are pretty blend.

I did like the music most, and I'm not sure why I was so attached to the overly dramatic bland characters, lol.
Hino repeated people's names incessantly for no apparent reason. :P
But it was one of the first animes I watched, so... I dunno. XD

Its been decent this season, some of the characters have been fairly likeable and the music is of course fantastic if you're into that kinda thing. A lot of people have complained about the apparent overload of drama from some characters, especially when it comes to relationships (that's when the show plunges and becomes really cheesy).

Thank you for saving me the time of watching it. I watched the first two but if this is like White Album 2 I would rather save my time. I was waiting for White Album 2 until it actually came out and made no mention of the previous characters except the song they played.

Exactly basically its the copy of White Album and White Album 2 except for the fact that I enjoyed White Album 2. I really don't enjoy this show haha

This Post right here tells it all. I really like the Music, but as it's been said, the Characters and plot are a bit lacking.

I actually think it's really well done. Check it out if you want a good musical anime.

First 2 seasons were better, which was why the OP was asking. Season 1 especially. The point were season 3 just jumped over the sillyness for me was one of the first few episodes, I forget which, was where she met a guy for 5 seconds, then went on a full date with him after seeing his skills at picking up elementary school girls with a toy piano. The MC is way ditzy.

if you're in need of an effective sleep medicine, I would recommend that.

it's a shame because I liked the first season... or first title or whatever it is.

Hi, looks like you got some helpful opinions, so I'm going to close this now. The next time you need personal advice or a recommendation about anime, please post in The Anime Help Thread or the Recommend Me an Anime thread. Both are "stickied" near the top of the Anime forum.

For questions about specific shows you can see if there's a discussion thread for it and ask there also. A list of show discussion threads is in the Show Discussion Index thread, but if visiting a show's discussion thread, beware...there may be spoilers.
