Alright so this line-up is coming to an end and I just wanted to leave it out there for everyone which anime who far deserve a second season like nobodies business. I would love to hear opinions from everyone about all the anime that should have second seasons even the old ones like Deadman Wonderland or Sekirei.
Anyways on with the list..

1) [u]Black Bullet. ( Its got a lot of unique ideas to it, season 2 would be worth it)

2) Nanana's Buried Treasure. ( I really enjoy this anime, maybe cause its a little more unique and really casts good characters and plot development, its a little like Phi-Brain but better in my opinion cause it has relationship development and a hot ghost for a secondary main character)

3) [u]No Game No Life. ( I mean if you don't like this anime then chances are you have the wrong tastes xD)

4) Coffin Princess Chaika. ( Has a lot of potential to have plot twists that would make Game of Thrones look like a terrible 80's sitcom... too late but oh well, Chaika is really cool, I don't know about anyone i'd like to see her suceed in her quest)

5) Brynhildr in the Darkness. ( Who doesn't want to see this to the end? I'm guessing no one raised their hands? Yeah, that is because we all want closure between Kuroneko and Murakami)

6) The Irregular at Magic High School. ( Kind of a mouthful but whatever, its cool, magic should be real, about time we had a badass as a main character that everyone likes)

Well that is it for the current line-up but why for the love of god did I never see a second season of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere??!??!

The only show I've followed like religion this season. One Week Friends. That show is so good.

I've always seen second seasons and shows that have 24 episodes as different things.

No, just no. The only one that really even deserves it from your list are NGNL and Chaika (and Chaika already has a season 2). As much I originally hoped for the other series to be good, they all ended up being mediocre.

Fair point. It seems moot to really draw a line between them. As long as we all enjoy our shows I couldn't care less what we call things

Aww come on, that is the type of thing that leads to all the smaller anime getting dropped completely. Besides you don't have to like an anime but don't impede it either with negativity.

BB and Brynhildr needed more episodes to start with

Chaika's already got season 2.

Nanana just didn't know where it wanted to go after the first few episodes.

IMHS may get one because I think it's very popular among guys in Japan, but I couldn't care less because it's much better in its written form.

So the only one I agree with is NGNL, unfortunately. I agree with Chaika, but it already has it's new season.

I know it doesn't count as a "second season" but Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches is getting an OVA, I'd like for that to get a full season.

Definitely No Game No Life. The first season covered the first 3 light novels and there are 6 light novels out so far, another season is possible but they'll have to wait to see if the BS's sell well (which I thing they will).

Then I suggest the authors of these anime write better stories then. Also, it isn't being negative. It's called telling the truth (at least in my views). If they don't want me to hate it they should make it better. I mean heck go read the forums for some of these anime. You'll see what I mean.

For example

Black Bullet had extreme pacing issues. Everything went by like a fricking hurricane. No tension in any of the fights at all. Characters were decent, but they kept pulling deus ex machina on the MC.

I don't even know what happened with Nanana's buried treasure. It was hard to tell anything. I couldn't even tell why the characters were motivated to do what they did. We also barely got any back story. The first half was decent, but the second half with the treasure hunting was really lame since at that point that was all they focused on. (Check the forums for more details)

For Brynhildr, as an anime only person, I was really kind of thrown off by the "fan service" in every new episode. This is suppose to be an anime where people are dying. How am I suppose to take it serious if the girls are naked for part of the episodes every week? The show was interesting at the beginning of the season when they had the whole Kuroneko backstory. However up until the last episode it has been pretty boring and they never even bought it up until now. I heard they even skipped the Skadi arc which was suppose to be good (? I heard it in the forums).

For IMHS it already has 26 episodes, it's probably fine to finish it there. The biggest thing I have with this show is the lack of emotions and struggles within the show. I go in every week thinking that they're going to win every fight they have. I like shows where there is character development and struggles. This show has almost none of that at all. The MC is so OP that he just does it and bam he wins.
