There's a lot of plagiarism in music but I never know in anime.

What makes it different?
Do we just take things by face value or just let each anime fall to whatever genre it'll land?

The only thing that comes to mind is that Kill la Kill has been accused of plagiarism by a mangaka, the other mangaka who contributed to the manga that was supposedly the victim of plagiarism had a milder response though.
Apparently it draws a lot of similarities to a manga called Gakuen Noise, from over a decade ago.

Really depends on your definition of plagiarism.

For Example: Black Bullet's setup is so similar to Attack on Titan it borders on it.

-Walls used to keep unstoppable enemy out

-Using the power of the enemy is the only way humanity can fight back (Eren's ability to transform into a Titan and the Cursed Children who are infected with the Gastrea virus but are still human and have superhuman abilities because of it)

-Different levels of Gastrea equate to different types of Titans

etc. Stories are very different even if the setup is the same, so I think it avoids it for the most part.

Cool info you got there.

I guess when you know your stuff you can easily recognized it even when the actual pacing of the anime is fast and on the go.

How about the actual fighting?

I'd seen a gif where Neji beating Naruto was so similar on how Spike (Cowboy Bebop) beating up his opponent.
