So what the hell happened? This show was simulcasted last Sunday initially, but it looks like Funimation moved it to Mondays. Anyone know if this is a simple mistake or not?

It airing on Sunday was the mistake. FUNi streamed it before it aired in Japan. Monday is its correct streaming day.

Ooops! Glad they didn't get the license pulled for that.

And then I found out it was based on a card game.... well that explains a LOT now. The animation style was a nice change, but card game is stupid and there's no escaping that.

They actually seem to incorporate the card part in a cool way with capturing the bounties.

Was worried that Shingeki no Bahamut was gone. But glad to hear it is still airing. The extra wait though for the next episode is killing me.

Episode 2

Favaro was looking to rid himself of that curse, but circumstances prevent him from doing so. First, his bounty hunter bracelet was off, and then his horse ignores his orders and drags him to Amira where the two escape by falling off the bridge. I have totally warmed up to this show, and it's the best of the fantasy shows this season, and that's saying quite a lot. So I'm definitely sticking with this.

That's very high praise considering it's probably the best season for fantasy, ever.

Between Bahamut, Log Horizon and Chaika it's a great time to be a fantasy fan. Of the bunch I like Bahamut the most but that's because I've got a thing for rogues who live by their wits.

Loving the cast a lot.

This is shaping up to be a very epic series so far.

They have an entire card game worth of art to draw on, so there's plenty left to show regarding monsters, angels, demons, gods, automatons, knights, and what have you.

I think that's my favorite OP of the season.
And this show is awesome so far. It's looking like no one knows the whole truth, including the audience.

I'm already kind of sad that this will only be 12 episodes. I mean only looking at what has been established so far, there should be more than enough material for at least 25 episodes. The universe has definitely dragged me in, characters are funny/interesting, art style is fantastic and the story looks like it could become really epic really fast. Definite contender for my favourite show this season.

Since I can't watch this any legal way (living in Germany and all that jazz) I am watching this on a certain site that belongs to the dark side. On there it said that this would only be 12 episodes. Normally they are spot on concerning this matter, so I didn't really question it, but if the judgement is still out on that, then all the better, I would prefer 24 episodes.
