Kind of an odd question, but whenever I settle in to catch up on my queue I almost always do the exact same things.

Sort my queue to watch my shows in the order I want. (I always try to end on an uplifting or funny show)

Pour a big glass of water to sip on.

Roll up in a blanket and plonk down on the couch.

I guess you could call that my anime ritual. Nothing extravagant, but I'm definitely consistent about it. Maybe you never thought about it, but do you have any anime viewing rituals?

I have said it once, and i will say it again.

Anime is something you watch in the dark, at night, alone, in your room.

Depends on which show I'm watching.

For most normal stuff, I just have tea or water.

For any thing with incesty overtones, I do milk shots for every onii-chan or onii-sama.

when i watch it in the morning, i normally take a hot shower, make a coffee and plop my butt on my couch and watch two episodes of a show before heading off to work.

When i come home, i normally pour myself a glass of wine and a big glass of water and sit on that very same couch till i fall asleep xD

Usually no, but if it's a really special series I'll straighten up the room possibly to the point of vacuuming and clear off all the clutter on my desk. When the room feels like its in order I'll go shower, get something to drink, and then settle in.

That's a rare series though, mostly I'll just go "I want to watch a thing" and start watching it.

Alone, I pour myself a big glass of iced coffee and sit down in my office. With my wife, we settle down on the couch in the living room.

That is a tradition that must be upheld in order to reach Otaku status.

I'm usually lying in bed having some sort of snack. Back when we used to buy ramen a lot, I would eat it while watching Naruto, but other than that, nothing much.

Not for regular shows. But a marathon, or going to see a movie premier, myself and my friends usually hit up an expensive sushi place we like, then chillax and enjoy.

Whenever watching Squid Girl, I get my awesome squid hat and put it on. For all other animes, I just make sure that my parents can't see what's on the screen, because some scenes of some anime are unexplainable.

I only watch anime at night when I am settling down for bed, that way I won't get interrupted by calls or whatever so I can just enjoy the show.
