When I was a kid I used to carry my own set of utensil in a baggy in my pocket.

Utensils? Multiple? I think not. There is only one utensil a person needs.

Behold, the collapsible SporKnife! http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/1655/?srp=5

Bask in it's glory, ye mortal users of traditional utensils, for ye are not worthy.

I have a set of those as well along with both my parents carrying a set as well.

If I've bought my own food somewhere, whether out, to work, to University, to a friend's place, I'll always bring my own cutlery.

I sometimes use my pocket knife, it comes in handy when I need to cut something, but I usually get funny looks because I just stab what I'm eating to pick it up...

I want all of you to think, nay, to dream of a world where we carry our own utensils with us. A world where restaurants and cafes need not waste money on disposable plastic utensils, or on cleaning supplies to wash dirty, used, ragged spoons, forks and knifes. A world where men and women need not fear using a unwashed fork, an unwashed spoon, as if they should be happy to have someones sloppy seconds! Where everybody is free to carry their own eating utensils, free from the judgment of society!

No longer dream, my brothers and sisters. Let us instead act. Let us usher forth a new era where all of humankind carries their own eating utensils when they go forth into society to eat!

Fuck that; I'll rather eat with my bare-hands; i do it somtimes anyways. 'Somthing that was sacrificed for my eating consumption deserves to be eaten with my barehands'

I could get into it.
But then it would kill the plastic utensil industry.
(If there is one.)
