but if I do it, it will look like I'm a stalker, besides I don't even know how to proceed with the back ground check (一。一;;)

You already expressed interest. You are a closet stalker. You are only missing the will needed to go to the mighty Google and find your way.

Seriously though I don't really know of any reputable places to even do a background check on someone. I would just Google them and be done with it. I don't even know what method the "ex-detective" used to research me when it was done.

yeah the only thing that came close to it was back in high school during home room we would look up different people and see if they got any tickets or driving violations, but other than that......

My name is just a short step down from John Smith as being the most basic name possible.

Don't hate my name, but don't really care for it either.

lucky there 354 students in my graduating class, about 105 of them had an S starting last name........... including 2 smiths but they claimed they weren't related

Dunno if I should be sad or not that my first thought to this was: "Only 354? Damn... lucky..."

My last name is one of the most common last names in Denmark. I don't mind it at all, and nothing is wrong with my last name.

Though my middle name people misspell it quite often, which is funny And when I played badminton back in the days and where at sports meeting, or tournament, they often called my middle names incorrectly, some gave up and just called my last name though quite fun

my last name is Lopez. A lot of my friends make fun of it (in a good way) asking if I'm related to Jennifer Lopez or George Lopez! lol

Heiertz, pronounced Hi-ertz, it's German, there is 1 other family with our last name in the US, the only other living relative I know of with our last name lives in Norway. Kinda sad that I'm gonna be the last generation with the name before it goes extinct.

I don't mind my last name, even if it's a bit unusual. It was formed into a nickname that stuck with me for a long time (not in a bullying sense though), and which some still use. I won't share it for obvious reasons, although I am sure if someone really wanted to stalk me, they'd find all the info they need quite quickly anyway.

Mine is very uncommon, and I was bullied a lot because of it. Not that I ever cared.
I'm sure they made fun of it because it's unique.

well half of them I didn't really care for, 5 were foreign exchange students (3 from germany, 1 from hong kong and 1 from south korea) plus most of them like to act as the redneck. a lot of them drove the trucks with lift kits covered in mud, wore cowboy boots, and country music was the most popular.... I didn't really fit in with them

Mine is European as well, but at the same time it's said exactly how it looks. And yet teachers, phone calls, just about everything: people try to pronounce it with an accent sounding like they're hacking a loogie. So I can say I like mine just because I find it hilarious when people try so hard to say it right when it really is nothing. XD For the record my last name is Berklich.

Ilahi (E-LA-HE) , Everyone calls me by second name because my first name is way too common. It made me one of the most known people in shcool though, even if they didn't know me personally they knew me by that name
