Am I the only one who thinks CR needs to make a whole other category for these really short (3-15min) animes? I am kinda tired of clicking on them to check them out and seeing that they are so short, its almost a waste of time to even bother watching them.

I don't care if they're in their own category. I'd just like the length of shows prominently noted on the show's page on the website and on Roku.

I love shorts! (Well, not all of them), and don't consider them a waste of time to at least watch one episode of. But I agree that it would be nice on the show page to give an approximate episode length.

BTW, if you have not watched Tonari no Seki-kun, I strongly encourage you to. Each episode is 10 minutes of "Killing Time" that is completely not a waste of time!

*High five*. Tonari No Seki-Kun, is the bee's knees of short animes. I enjoy every minute of that show.

Now back to the topic at hand.

It would be nice, since it would keep it all organized, but i dont really see it as much of a big deal.

Its a bit disappointing sometimes however when you click on a show and it turns out to be 5 minutes long (in the case of Inugami-San to Nekoyama-san, so it would be a welcomed addition when to know ahead of time.

It would be useful when im on break at work and i just feel like watching a quick funny episode of a short show, instead of getting into a 22 minute episode and then realizing my breaks over before the episode ends.

All in all, not a big deal, but would be a welcome addition to the selection menu

That would be great but they are not waste of time. Wait I take that back Pupa was a complete waste of time.

I mean, it would be good, but then again you could just look down at the video length bar. Wasting five minutes on one good anime is better than 20-some on a bad one

The only short anime I had a real problem with was Black Blood Brothers. It felt like they rushed a couple seasons worth of info into the last 2 or 3 episodes.

Well, there are other sites that list Anime, articles, and such where you can check if they're going to be short before hand.
And even if there weren't, I find short Anime to be fun most of the time, and by no means are they a waste of time.

Only short anime I hated so far was Pupa, most of the others are funny and offer a lot of fun for a few minutes. Some of them *cough* Tonari no Seki-kun *cough* were even better than some full length anime!

Well, we all seem to be in agreement that Tonari no Seki-kun was a really good anime but I would like short anime to be grouped together by genre so that I can watch more of them.

So far the only good ones I've seen are Teekyuu and Tonari no Seki-kun but I'd like to see more good ones. At one point Tonari no seki-kun was the anime I was looking most forward to during the week - despite being only 8 minutes per episode.

Grouping shorts together by genre would help me find good ones but I don't want them to be separated completely from full-length anime. If I had known initally that Teekyuu was 2 minutes long I probably wouldn't've started watching it but I'm glad I did because it's probably the anime I've re-watched most.

Omg Tonari no Seki-kun seems to me a definition of LAME adaptation!
I mean, manga is awesome, very special. I love it!
And it has crazy potential for animation, but just painting it and animating obvious motion? Such a shame

p.s. and it is even not replica - characters even look a bit dumbed down
...though may be that's already my emotional bias
