The fact that M, K and CL of SNK all turned out to be the A really impressed you, aye?! (:
Lol that's my initials-style way to avoid resorting to spoiler alert Ɑ:
p.s. though I haven't read last chapter yet so not up to date on that twist

I first I was confused but now I get it.

Can you tell which one is human? Amongst these embryos, one of them is human. Other animals included are fish, salamander, tortoise, chicken, hog, calf and rabbit. It's almost impossible, isn't it? (unless you're an embryologist, it's almost impossible to distinguish between humans and animals).

My point of this embryology 101 quiz is that humans are so closely related to other animals in the early stages of embryonic development, so imagine our own species... we literally have little differences amongst ourselves if we're looking at it from a scientific point of view; nobody has an organ that nobody else have. We all use a heart to pump blod, a brain to think, etc. We bleed the same colour of blood.

Sure, we might have different immunity to different things, but the memory cells function in the exact same way as every other humans.

DNA transcription, replication and repair function in exactly the same way. There's nobody that has a unique method of DNA replication process.

Philosophy: What is family?

Everybody has a different definition of family. The conventional meaning being... family is your blood, family is the people you grew up with, who supported you and fed you etc.

I can never understand why people answer, "Family" when they're asked... "One thing you can't live without". Because I can live without with my biological family.

Then I realized, my definition of family is different from most people's. For me, family is more than just blood.

I feel no emotional attachment to my family. I have a unique personality with unique tastes in hobbies and subjects and I have a unique set of philosophies.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

So to answer your question, scientifically all humans are related, philosophically, not everyone can be my family, not even the people who gave birth to me.

This is the cold, hard, honest truth. Any emotional link to my biological family is simply because of conscious obligation and gratefulness that they raised me. Nothing more than that.

My real family is still out there, somewhere.

This comes down to one thing each persons religious beliefs, Either you believe it or you don't.

I personally believe we are, I believe the bible and the creation of the first humans Adam & Eve. All humans originated directly from the first human couple

Um, no. I can't possibly let that stand. 4 Billion years is the age of the earth. Humans as we are date from about 200,000 years ago, at least from the fossil record.

Also, cool fact. Long ago in prehistoric times there was a huge plague that nearly wiped us all out and only the individuals with really aggressive immune systems survived. This is why we have so many allergies.

Anyway... Racism actually makes a lot of sense. Babies are racist. It's because they need to be able to recognize members of their own family/tribe, who should look similar to mommy. Then there is a sort of basic imperative to carry on the genes of the family.

Discrimination and hate probably have a lot to do with early resource scarcity. We may have made that worse in modern times because capitalism based around scarcity, and we even engineer it in some cases to increase competition and maximize profitability.

And of course it is much harder to love everyone and act with perfect compassion than it is to hate and discriminate even just a little, so very few people are able to choose that path.

I'm sorry, but I've got to disagree that babies are racist. All experiences I've had with babies and other very young children has shown them to have no/very little discrimination.

I was hoping to let you know that the drawing of the embryos are too overzealous concerning similarity in the embryos. For instance, take this picture:

Yes. Evolution. We are related too to a lesser extent with all of life and its various webs. It's an amazing reality.

Exactly what I was thinking. To think that I have relations to some of the world's most terrible criminals.
