Ah screw it, I'm watching this on another site. Regarding the first episode, well it was actually good or exceeded my expectations.

OP song is catchy and we get some good English from the narrator! Not only that but the action was good too in the second half with the OST. Not sure what I think about the new archer girl though.

Ending felt kinda underwhelming but it was fun.

Crunchyroll aired it with English subtitles, but only in very few places. I'm guessing someone either used a proxy, or someone from one of those places ripped it from here.

Ahem, So... that mean Daisuki could be doing it or maybe crunchyroll maybe still in talks about the agreement.

At this point, I haven't seen so much as a credible rumor that anyone else will be simulcasting this outside of Asia, or has otherwise licensed it.

Daisuki's other grabs (like Kuruko's 3 and Cinderella Girls) were highlighted on their site days before they became available.

This simply "smells" like the licensor (or someone on the production committee with veto power) simply putting the refusing to license it to the west for some reason.

would be a damn shame if that were true... but it just begs to ask the question why is CR simulcasting this in asia in english, but not simulcasting it in any english speaking countries?

just finished up episode 1, btw, and it was damn awesome. they pretty much jump right into the action straight from the start! can't wait for next week!

Frankly, I'm just hoping this doesn't turn into an anime fan's horror story where no one licenses this series for release on DVD and/or Blu-Ray here in the US or anywhere else other than Japan. It has happened before and it has mind scarring effects on the series's fans. But it's extremely rare for that to happen.
If this doesn't see the light of foreign shores, I'll be devastated, because I love this series.

English seems to be a good "common" language for Asia, especially when you take China out of the mix. As I recall, Animax in Asia commonly provides their anime programming in English, going so far as to create their own dubs of many programs.

This could also be a case where the subtitles are being provided by the licensor.

While Seven Arcs series have previously fared rather well for simulcasts, it has been less so on the home video front.

The first two Nanoha series were licensed by Geneon and released by Funimation, but the license wasn't renewed. StrikerS was the standout, with no license at all (although it was before the simulcast era). Asura Cryin' and its sequel have never seen a home video license here.

Dog Days 3 English, not bad, not bad at all. Not sure if to add it to viewing roster....or just watch sparingly.

The Opening was definitely fun, Ill give it that, surpasses S1 and S2 from a start point of view.

I decided to at least watch the first episode on the dark side, but I think I will hold off on watching any more of this until Crunchyroll makes this available in the States or I am convinced that it's not coming. I think that CR is still in negotiations and will do everything they can to bring it over, but nobody knows for sure.

Episode 1

This return trip to Flonyard is off to a bad start as somehow Shinku and Nanami are redirected into a wilderness without their bags, and it's thanks to Sharu that they were able to get out of this jam. There's something ominous on the horizon as the animals in the wilderness are acting unusually aggressive. After a first season that was mostly lighthearted with some serious moments and a second season that is all lighthearted, this season figures to be mostly serious stuff, and it will be interesting to see where this show goes.

Wow what was that, actual well done english in an anime? I wonder if they outsourced it to Great Britian, or maybe got an expatriate in to do the voicing? It didn't sound professional so I suspect the later.

I will wait on this one. Some parts and the ending of the first season were good, but season 2 was mind numbingly boring. Only when we get the okay that Crunchyroll has this and I have read people's reactions to the first few episodes, will I make the call whether to watch this or not.

yeeeeah, super disappointed about losing this license. i coulda sworn that when they first posted the news update, the regions werent restricted like that but maybe my memories are playing tricks on me. i really do love this show, so im gonna scrounge around the internet, find a stream for it somewhere. heres to hoping maybe any problems will get 'ironed out' and CR will get a chance to simulcast it before too long. like with Encouragement of Climb season 2.

that being said, people need to chill oooout when CR cant make everyones dreams come true. you guys here on the forums seem arright, but just look at the comment section for the show itself. its like an asylum of stark raving animals, flinging their own poop at the hand that feeds them

That is because most of those commenting don't care about anything but watching the show. They are not part of the community as I see it and don't care to be. They just have an avenue to bitch.
