I would try to find a way to kill myself immediately. Personally I think immortality is more of a curse than a blessing. Having all the time in the world to do anything would be ultimately boring. So very boring! No matter how many times I get stabbed by a cute girl or overdose on drugs. I would still want to die. I don't think living for centuries on end watching your surroundings fade away in an endless cycle would be all that entertaining. Especially when (according to the OP) you have no special abilities besides being infinitely immortal. If I can't find a way to die however, I would spend my time doing things that I don't even know I would do.

the odds are they would not want a super soldier, but to have your power for them self. The base of most people with power is greed what can they get for them self not what can I do to help others. Id never let any one know. I would fake my own death from time to time and when I did I would go live in a new country until it was time to fake my death again, and move again.

I'd build a spaceship and head towards the nearest star.

Or the most distant.....

And if they dip you in cement and throw you at the bottom of the ocean?

I'd go about it like I was Dr Manhattan from The Watchmen. I'd get as far away from Earth as I could, take residence on a desolate rock and then begin to create. I would periodically return to Earth to check up on the latest anime as well as fry any non-believers who disrespect my power.

If the Anime industry goes on forever, keep doing what I do.

If it doesn't, then I would destroy the world and float around space for all eternity. Hopefully not, and I reach some better universe to live at, at some point.

If I become immortal and reach the Animeverse- Create a drug that would turn me female, then find me a lovely, fellow immortal, loli lover that will live a beautiful Yuri life with me for all eternity.

Immortality is something I don't get why others dislike.
You don't have to worry about death by an accident or something stupid you do, you can see the world progress, you can make limitless friends and family, do good for others, and watch all the Crunchyroll you can handle!

Immortality only? No super power? No partner? Not for me because:

A) I'd have to hide it because hate to be locked up for eternity ie. Lab experiment, prison, etc...

B) Dismembered and my parts spread all over the globe buried in concrete.

C) Watch my loved ones die throughout time...

You'd have to be a self absorbed person to be ok with this, alone forever...that is sad. So many movies I have seen where the person that is immortal wished for death.

I fear that being immortal over time you'll leave everyone and everything that meant anything to you behind. The world would become a place of ideas and culture that would become foreign to you, You might be immortal but can you reinvent your self every so many decades? Likely one would become either hermit or a monster as you don't fit in anywhere anymore.

It's the whole thinking about it too far that people dislike I think. Which if you were in the situation you would have to think about.

Like I brought up, some organization or government gets scared of your immortality, locks you in a room and throws away the key, no way out, no way to die.

Similar situations like that of course: weights around your feet - thrown in the ocean, sent to space - ejected out the air lock, and other things like that where you can't die and are essentially just... there.

Sure the simple thoughts on immortality: seeing the world change, never having to worry about accidental deaths or disease, stuff like that is great and all, but then you just take that thinking a step further and you are exploited.

I would merely observe the world like a wanderer would do.
I will do my best ability to avoid joining a faction -- nation -- and thus creating imbalances.

Create a huge foundation that tries to create peace and thus human productivity. So I would make a corporation to make myself lots of money for my future goals, that is to help the world. I would make a fake president of course as I wouldn't want to get assassinated ;)

And then ... research on space-travelling and slowly create a Gundam Technology :)

Though living immortally would be quite sad, to be alone in the world. Not having a chance to have a normal life and thereof marriage and of course, happiness. But if it means saving the world from destruction then i'd gladly throw my freedom for the sake of the next generations :')

I wouldn't want to! I think the future is a scary place! Just knowing that we keep advancing kinda creeps me out. Back when I was younger we didn't have these things called iPhones! There were such things called sidekicks where you actually had to flip the phone well anyways its kinda scary to imagine what we could accomplish in a hundred years. When I die, I die simple as that
