If you became immortal you would see everyone who you love die... And it will stay for you forever until you became crazy because all you can do is shut yourself away and stop yourself from becoming hurt because all of your friends and family will die but you... and those thoughts will stay with you forever.

It makes me think of Highlander. He had to watch his wife grow old and die while he never aged, and every woman thereafter. Being an immortal must be a lonely life . In the Anne Rice novels, ancient vampires sometimes threw themselves out into the sun from being world-weary for centuries.

Hard one, but after much thought: no. I don't want to live forever and see everyone I love die! Also, I'll probably die anyway when the world is forced out of the goldilocks zone by a growing Sun.

As much as I really want to see what the world will become in two hundred years or more, I still think I'm going with no. I procrastinate enough as it is. I can't imagine how bad I'd do if I literally had all the time in the world on my hands.

Why would I want to live forever? To see everyone die before me? To know love, and then to see them die before me? No thanks, I'd rather be mortal.

Yeah...I would open up a savings account and get rich. I would learn everything. I would experience everything. And I would do it at what ever pace pleases me the most.

I wouldn't want the feeling of everyone dying around me when it came their time and I am just standing their looking like i haven't aged in years. If I had a certain amount of years I could be immortal by like say 400 years or something around that time period.

Yes, give me eternal happiness or sadness!! I would enjoy being immortal tbh because I would be able to experience anything and everything I would want.

I'm more of a forever alone type of person, so it'd only bother me for a bit. I'd be sad when my family members all die and so do my pets, but overall I'd probably be happy knowing I can do what I like as many times as I like. I could cope with it, that's for sure.
