Why does Sailor Moon's art style look so bad (it feels like it is stuck in the 90's). I was somewhat interested in it but I am not liking the way this anime looks.

Every two weeks, that is so weird.

I'm curious if it will be 1 or 2 episodes every two weeks? If 1 episode then they are trying to drag on the series if 2 episodes then maybe it's just a timing thing with the TV stations in Japan.

This is the broadcast schedule they have for the entire show, so it will last one year.

It is set to be 26 episodes over the course of one year, which confirms only one episode every other week.

Although the earlier info stated the "first and third" week of every month, that would allow for only 24 episodes in a year. August has 5 Saturdays, so we won't have to wait long to see if it is actually every other Saturday, or the 1st, 3rd, and (if present) 5th Saturday. (The latter would mean only a 1 week gap between that and the next episode).

A side benefit of the longer interval is they will be under less time pressure to complete each episode, which hopefully will translate to better animation quality.

It seems unlikely, given that was one of series Funimation announced early:

Exactly what everyone said happened ~ this Sailor Moon is much closer to the Manga. That includes character design being much closer to the Manga.

A show as high profile as this, Crunchyroll surely could have offered a reasonable MG for the UK/Eire rights, so its 90%+ someone poached the UK rights ~ most likely AnimaxUK.

This is why we all need a more united EU so that we can get an EU licence rather than having to have individual licences. If it were as easy to get as a US license then maybe crunchyroll would try harder to get us anime like this. Maybe we'd even have a decent amount.

It would make the rights more consistent ... though it could mean shows being split between Crunchyroll, AnimeDIgitalNetwork, AnimaxEU and WakanimEU.

Rather than the rights being poached, I think it's more likely that the main Toei branch that CR licensed it from isn't able to offer UK rights (as seen from previous Toei simulcasts). The branch that does have the rights (probably Toei Europe) doesn't seem to be as open about online streaming without a home video license.
