I feel the same when asking other people for any kind of help, especially for financial help. I'm pretty much self-sufficient and would rather try to fix my own problems and take care of my own needs by myself. It takes an extremely difficult situation and an equal amount of guts before I actually decide to finally ask people for help.

And isn't it just right, honest intention to avoid being a parasite as best as you can.

Hmm just curious, you bought Walkthrough magazines when you were at most 5?

Buy?!

Uhmmm... YouTube = $0.00

I can't stand how slow YouTube can be with those though. Some people on there just talk way too much. I just Google what I need to know and scan forum postings or a walkthrough and get the info much quicker.

Cheating on assignments is something that I don't partake in. The idea of me receiving something that I don't deserve really gets to me. Although I do understand why people cheat sometimes, but when it's an ongoing thing, it really bugs me.

I have an older brother that had a Nintendo 64 at the time and we would go out to buy them together, obviously i didn't go out by myself and purchased walkthrough magazines as a 5 year old, but i was already playing and could grasp the concept of playing a game, i have a stack of them that we never got rid of.

I don't like to drink(alcohol) in front of my mom cause she doesn't drink, also when I used to smoke I wouldn't do it in front of anyone form my family or little kids as I though it might influence them. Then there is the fact I don't like to mix alcohol with painkillers of any kind

I used strategy guides for a long time and then I felt like I was cheating myself out of the experience, and failing as a detective (I'm not really a detective but you know what I mean). A rule I decided that I cannot break... I never miss breakfast! It is the most important meal of the day!! On the worst most rushed day ever I will grab a hunk of bread and a glass of milk as I am running out of the door! Breakfast is wonderful and there are so many quick and easy options such as cereal, muffins, granola bars, biscotti ext!! I think I also require food in order to operate... I think coffee does this for some people.

Being a spectator, the most annoying to watch was Dead Space.

The character had to stomp and stomp hundreds of boxes more than he could kill alien monsters.

How can you play an action game and the character can't even jump over phone book?
Or run fast like your life depends on it?

I never ask anyone for help, ever. I'd rather struggle than have someone do something for me. I also can't be satisfied with the work I've done unless it is to the full extent of my ability, which is somewhat ironic considering I never seem to finish anything.

In pokemon, I will catch a legendary and leave it in the box.
I refuse to use it on my team because it feels like cheating to me.
It's just so overpowered compared to everything else and feels like a waste of leveling it up.
Feels better to use my own hand-picked team instead.

Kinda similar to OP just not so intense. I never look up walkthroughs when I'm going through my first playthrough in games, I do this mostly for RPG's though.. Cause I despise spoilers.

In Dead Space's defense it was a survival horror game, its the same in Resident Evil and most other survival horror games. Ammo and health is scarce, its not going to be out in the open, you gotta find it.
