I normally watch shows either after the season is over or start when they are a few episodes from wrapping up. As such, spoilers are a fact of life for me.

I do my best to avoid them, such as avoiding topics discussing the series, but I also try to take "the journey is the reward" approach (which was a good philosophy to have with AoT, since people loved spoiling it).

As such, I get a bit irritated with people that want everyone to act as if everything is a potential spoiler. If you haven't seen some very popular series that aired 7 years ago, you shouldn't be surprised when some people bring up a major plot point without considering that there might be someone that hasn't seen it yet.

People talking about LN or manga material in an anime thread are a pox.

Yeah. I had to avoid the Golden Time thread because someone kept discussing LN stuff openly. Then there's a member here who mindlessly recaps every damn episode of every damn show he watches openly. I mean dude... Really? People who watched the episode don't need to be told what that just watched, and people who haven't seen it yet don't need a detailed spoiler. /rant

Spoiler alert!

Ash is still 10.

It says 12, but close enough

It was never stated he was 12 tho. 4 years ago he was mentioned to be 10, and no update since then.

He was 10 for 13 years. I'd say he's likely to still be ten.

Well I didn't make the picture, I just remembered it being funny is all. No photoshop skills to correct it.

Well, for some reason I figured. Just felt like correcting your correction, in hope that someone will correct me as well. Seriously, the poor guy shall be 10 for all eternity just cuz Dialga is being lazy at controlling time. :/

Now thats a huge time fail in the world of pokemon. lol.

Unfortunately I have invested way too much time tweaking my Firefox to get it to where it is now. Switching to Chrome at this point would be very difficult. I asked Beardfist-sama if he'd be willing to make a Firefox extension and he said maybe if he had time, but really that's asking a lot of someone.

it depends on the person. i actually dont mind spoilers at all. often times while an anime adaptation of a manga/light novel is airing ( ex. irregular at magic high school or aot) i usually tend to spoil myself by actually looking for the light novels or manga and reading it. when i comes to ppl that are anime watchers only or are behind on manga/light novel updates I ask them if they want to know wats going on lately.

It indeed is. As well as the only explanation to it I can think of. ^^;;
I mean, on a special episode(the one where Pikachu meets the Pichu brothers for the first time, on the 3rd Movie), they freaking celebrated Ash and Pikachu's meeting anniversary. Meaning, one exact year after Ash turned ten. But 3 gens later, he was still 10...

I don't get bothered by spoilers because I don't care about it. Spoil all you want because I do not care.

i actually look for spoilers before i watch anything because of how these anime go south fast out of no where and i think its a happy go lucky anime... so after getting burned on several now i read everything before i start watching the first episode...

Sometimes I spoil myself when I habitually look up the wiki for one and see if its any good...and then continue reading to my displeasure >.>

Though I can say I wasn't happy about the final episodes of Chaika being spoiled...browsing the freaking news section when I read the season 2 notice. Come on now...I can understand in the forum but the news section?

I'm laughably paranoid about spoilers. Being aware of twists and character deaths before they happen totally ruins the moment for me, but then even far more reasonable and unavoidable things annoy me too, like people constantly referring to an episode/show as a tear-jerker before I watch them. Often the unexpected nature of drama/tragedy is what makes it so poignant. So yeah, I kind of have to stay away from lots of threads in this section because of being hypersensitive.

if you guys are searching youtube and something comes up, or you accidentally skip to episode 5 of a series, I can't help you.

If somebody is like " Dude, when X died.. I was like OMG"

yeah, you're on my list

Edit: Bluetrev is gone for the next 30 days. I was not kidding, you posted in here knowing that you would provoke a response. If you continue to be aggressive and rude to other users, and attempt to test the boundaries of the forum rules, the ban will extend.

Damn it, I should have reported the guy who did exactly that a while ago in that case, lol. Not so much because of the spoil, which could have been an honest mistake, but because of his attitude afterwards.

See, I don't really get that mentality. I mean there are so many anime series out there, that I'm guessing most people will have a few classics to catch up on. Things they've been putting off for a while, or haven't had the time, or whatever else, especially given that many people here weren't at all into anime 7 years ago. While I'm no longer surprised by the fact that people spoil really well-known series from the past, I don't see why people shouldn't express their irritation against it just like with other spoilers.

I was spoiled to the entirety of Code Geass, it caused me to just not finish watching it. Spoilers suck.
