I need recommendations for good animes to watch. The problem is I am a stay at home mom so I have it on in the same room as my 2 year old. So I can't have anything with violence (even slapstick) as she will mimic it. Overly scary visuals might be a bad idea to and excessive fan service all so no go. Throwing in a beach episode for no reason is fine but lots of up skirt and boob jiggle is not pre-school friendly.

I'm not looking for something for her like just something for me. Free and Kuroko's worked great because the conflict is sports related. I have been managing Toriko by watching fight episodes when she's in bed. The problem is it can be hard to tell from the short blurb what I can make work.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

Sorry for closing this, but AnimeKami is right, there's a thread just for these sorts of questions over at Recommend me an Anime - please feel free to post in there, or look through previous suggestions!

Completely non-violent, even in sports is sometimes hard to find, so I understand. Personally, I loved Seki-kun for innocent school desk distraction fun, Silver Spoon would probably work as it's about students at an agricultural school, and to round out the school trifecta, Moyashimon is about microorganisms in an amusing manner.

I'd definitely recommend looking in the Slice of Life genre.. some do have the slapstick violence, others get a too fan-service-y, but several are just fun. But really, asking over in the Recommendation thread would be best, since I'm sure others have similar questions!
