Happy Friday everyone! Time to jump-start your weekend with more details and times for the eagerly-anticipated Sword Art Online II!

SAO II will be airing starting Saturday July 5th at 9:30am Pacific Time, and will be available for Crunchyroll members WORLDWIDE excluding: France, Switzerland, Belgium, Algeria, Monaco, Tunisia, Germany, Luxemburg, Austria, and Liechtenstein, China, Taiwan, Korea, India and Japan.*

*NOTE: Stream dates for Europe territories will be delayed by 1 month, except for UK and Ireland.

ALSO, we are happy to announce that these new expanded regions will also apply to Season 1 and Extra Edition starting July 1! More Sword Art love in more place!


Based on the light novel by written by Reki Kawahara, the Sword Art Online series continues into its second season. One year after the SAO incident, Kirito is approached by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Department, Seijiro Kikuoka, with a request to enter other VRMMO called Gun Gale Online (GGO). Kikuoka informs Kirito that, “Players who are shot by a mysterious avatar with a jet black gun lose their lives even in the real world…”

Unconvinced that the virtual world can affect the real world, Kirito logs on to GGO, wandering in an unfamiliar world in order to investigate the “Death Gun” incident. He is joined by a female sniper named Sinon who owns a gigantic “Hecate II” rifle. The two decide to enter the “Bullet of Bullets,” a large tournament to choose the most powerful gunner within the realm of GGO, in hopes of making direct contact with the mysterious avatar behind the “Death Gun”.

aand for announcement number two today, we have the mecha-action series ARGEVOLLEN coming your way starting on Thursday, July 3 at 8:30am Pacific Time.

ARGEVOLLEN will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the following territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Turkey, Latin America, Europe (except Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vatican City, Moldova, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Ukraine), the Middle East, and North Africa.


An original title being produced by Xebec, also known for their work on Future Card Buddyfight and Occult Academy, ARGEVOLLEN takes place in a world where the two countries of Arandas and Ingelmia have been fighting for a very long time. Susumu Tokimune, a young man fighting with the Arandas forces saves a girl named Jamie Hazaford when she is attacked by the enemy. To survive, he uses the weapon Argevollen and fights.

Voice actor Ryota Ohsaka, who also voices Eijun Sawamura from the ongoing Ace of the Diamond, stars as Susumu, and Saori Onishi, La Folia Rihavein from Strike the Blood, voices Jamie. The opening theme is “Tough Intention” by KOTOKO, and Sachika Misawa sings the ending theme “Face.”

It's a new day and new titles are coming up for Summer 2014! From P.A. Works (Nagi no Asukara, Hanasaku Iroha) comes a new feels-packed anime GLASSLIP!

Starting on Thursday July 3 at 8am Pacific Time, GLASSLIP will be available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Turkey, Latin America, Europe (except Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vatican City, Moldova, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Ukraine), the Middle East, and North Africa.


The next title from P.A. Works, the studio who did Nagi no Asukara (Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea), GLASSLIP follows the story of Toko Fukami, an aspiring glass-blower whose family runs a glass-working business. During the summer, she and her four friends meet a transfer student, Kakeru Okikura, who claims that a voice from the future lead him to Toko. His arrival sets off a chain of events for the six of them that will make their final summer together full of hope and heartache.

The cast features newcomer Seria Fukagawa as Toko, Ryota Ohsaka, Haruto Tokishima in Valvrave the Liberator, as Kakeru, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Haruka Nanase in the Free! series, as Yukinari Imi, Risa Taneda, QUEEN from No Game No Life, as Sachi Nagamiya, and Saori Hayami, Wako Agemaki from Star Driver, as Yanagi Takayama.

Aand for announcement number 2 today, we have a new catalog title in the form of Super Robot Wars: Original Generation The Animation!

All 3 episodes of the OVA are now available to Premium Members in the US and Canada, with free users being able to watch in 1 month.


Dr.Jurgen of DC developed a global defense system to combat potential alien threats. This system has two elements. First is the VTX-001 Vartoul unmanned anti alien PT. Governing these drones is the ODE worldwide network system. However, this system has a noteworthy secret. A living human is needed to control the ODE core. Furthermore, the ODE core needs human organs to support itself. At the present day, the drone have gone on a mass abduction spree. Kyosuke and co has been sent in to take care of the problem.

Studio Lerche will be leading the animation of Re: Hamatora into its second season. The original cast of the first season will be joining us into the sequel as well. Ryota Osaka will be voicing the titular lead Nice, also known for his work as Ryōta Murakami from Brynhildr in the Darkness. He is joined by Hiroshi Kamiya, who will be voicing Art.

I read "Hamtora", & thought that "Hamtaro" was going to have a dark, human like, remake. lol

I just finished watching the short summery of this series. It's sounds cool, so I'll definitely check it out.
