When did you start watching Naruto (Shippuden)?
Posted 6/25/14
Wow. The original Naruto was SO long ago I actually feel kinda old, lol. Like OP I first started watching Naruto when it first aired on Cartoon Network on Friday nights (or was it Saturday mornings?). I remember being so hyped each new episode. Cartoon Network was the bomb back then.

But once the show got cancelled (?) I started to watch the fansub online. But eventually I stopped watching it for some unknown reason until a few months ago when I started watching Shippuden on crunchyroll.

I've been watching Shippuden (as I skip all the unnecessary filler) in little spurts since it's the summer. I'm up to the part where Sasuke is confronting Orochimaru.

I hope to finish this series unlike Bleach.

I started watching Naruto on Hulu in 2010. It took me 6 months or so to catch up to what was currently airing. That was my first foray into the concept of simulcasts, which led me to fansub streaming sites and eventually Crunchyroll.

Whenever it started airing, I believe I was in middle school when the ads for shippuden started poping up for it. (The japanese one not dub)

I actually remember watching some of it, I was super hyped.

I was the same way lol I mean I watched DBZ but only cause my cousins & friends watched it first and I just happened to leave the TV on (heh! ) but Naruto was the first anime that was "mine" so to speak lol I grew up on it. Naruto FTW!

Watched Shippuuden the day it aired. I had been watching since 2004 so I had to go through that year or 2 of filler too. People complaining about filler now have no fucking idea.

started with the original series, don't know when... 2003? dropped it after the pre-shippouden fillers started. tried to pick it back up with shippouden, didn't like it at all, so I dropped it and haven't looked back.

When it first aired. Oh man everyone was so excited... then around episode 50 or so we realized it was crap and stopped watching.

hmm the first clips of it i saw were probably about two years ago. Never watched it beyond that though lol. Nothing against the series, it's just hard for me to start anything long-running.
