I don't follow sports really so I don't know all of what is going on exactly...but he bit someone? For the third time? I would say an immediate outright ban on playing entirely until both a hefty fine is paid out and he gets psychiatric care and clearance from said psychiatrist that whatever issue is making him think it is OK or whatever has been dealt with. I would also think that they, him and the psychiatrist, would have to be monitored closely though to ensure that the psychiatrist wouldn't just get paid off to clear him. A formal apology to all three victims would be good too. I would think that is reasonable enough.

For the first bite, he was suspended 7 games in 2010. In 2011 he was suspended 8 games and fined 40,000 British pounds for racially abusing another player(the next game they played against each other he didn't shake the guys hand and was forced to apologize) and 1 game for making obscene gestures to opposing fans. In 2013 he was suspended 10 games for biting another player. I think he does need a psychiatric evaluation.

Did not know any of that. Seems like even beyond the biting he is just a massive asshole. Players on any kind of sport always seem to be given so many more chances than anyone else. I would think, and hope, that there is a point where they will just have to realize it won't stop without some form of mental help and just say enough and kick him out until it happens.

Well, that's just not fair to Mike Tyson! They got rid of him after only one nibble.

I have seen the thumbnail news in my Bing's homepage.
This actually saved me at work.

I don't actually watch soccer (futbol) but someone asked me today if I had watched it.
I was like, "yea. Have you heard this Uruguay player biting this Italian player? Weird, huh?"
From there I got into an actual conversation rather than just a greeting.

When it comes to football and soccer (futbol), I can't watch them by myself.
I have to watch these games with a crowd with me.
It's like I'm getting the rush/energy as a group.

Basketball. I can watch it by myself.

Baseball. Golf.
I'll just go to sleep early.

Poker?
You kidding me, right?

I know what you mean. I once went to a professional soccer match in Mexico. I didn't want to root for the home team but all those people around me got me pumped up I ended up rooting for them.

Did you find to actually liking the home team? Or do you still rooting against it?
Have you finally became a fan?

He's an excellent player and you can tell he really loves soccer but his decision making is something to question.

It was actually a one time thing. It was the first soccer match I ever went to and got caught up in the moment. I have my own team I have liked since I was a kid. I could never abandon them.

This has nothing to do with anything you're discussing but your avatar reminds me of Freddie Mercury.

It's absolutely ridiculous. I hate Suarez even more after this and I hope Fifa ban him for a VERY long time but I know there not going to because he's a star player. He's only hurting himself also, all that fuss over Real Madrid and Barcelona trying to sign him is just going to go out the window completely. Liverpool could sue him for breach of contract if he is banned again.
