They both excel in their own fashion statement. It depends on how comfortable you are on what you are wearing. IMHO, I'd go for Korean as they are more wearable on casual days You can see both of Korean and Japanese outfits here: http://www.kigukawaii.com/

I like Korean modern fashion more. Japanese fashion can be nice but there seems to be more eccentricity. Taiwan fashion isn't bad, either.

Japan wins when it comes to traditional clothing, though.

It all beats the crap out of US clothing when it comes to sizing, though. I hate shopping here so much. Nothing fits me properly and I'm often caught in the territory between small and medium. I occasionally buy large kids' shirts to wear as undershirts since they are cheaper than adult types. Asian clothing companies have better sizing. Then, again, I'm Asian myself. The only readily accessible company that produces clothes that consistently fit me is Superdry.

It's so bad I've taken to shopping at Goodwill stores now. The low prices don't kill me when the clothes fail to fit. And I occasionally find nice stuff in Goodwill stores. It's either Superdry or Goodwill now.

I feel like Korean fashion is better, but I'm not too knowledgeable about Japanese fashion so I can't say for sure, just a feeling.

They both have pretty similar principles and are more conservative than western counterparts, but they also can both run ABSURDLY small.

Erm... I stick with the Italians... yeah.

I'm guessing everyone's thinking of the typical Korean and Japanese fashion and not like, certain designers or traditional clothes or whatever so my answers Japanese, I think general streetwear is nicer.

imo, Korean because they know their fashion. I love some of Japan fashions, but they have to turn fashion into "cute". It's overrated for me.

I'm more of a traditionalist myself, if I had it my way I'd love the complete revivification of Edo-period style. Both modern Korean and Japanese fashion is good though, I enjoy them for what my knowledge on fashion is, which is pretty limited rofl
