I might be wrong but the general stereotype says Japanese dont use L why are so mange names in basically every anime have some sort of L. Im just really curious love languages. speak french english and norwegian. would love peoples input. Philosophical or technical.

they cannot roll the "R"

because they incorporate a few English words into the anime. Like the name "Raito" can be pronounced as "Light" in English or something like that.
and Light is supposed to be an English word. it's used poetically in the anime death note, it's almost like an irony. the character is full of darkness, yet his name is Light.

I don't know if the above paragraph makes sense or not... because... I don't know how to make it more coherent.

I wouldn't use anime as a good representation of Japanese culture. Alot of otaku go to japan expecting the holy land of anime, and when they arrive they realize its quite different than how its portrayed in anime.

From my personal experience in taking Japanese lessons and as explained by my Japanese teacher. /L/ is a constant that is lacked in the Japanese language(meaning there is no equivalent sound in the Japanese language that is equal to the english /L/) . There are very few names if any at all, with L. If there is an L, it is often pronounced with a similar sound that they use to pronounce /R/.

Anime is fantasy, and thus alot of them have fantasy based names.

EDIT (as i just saw Gayasianboys post)

He is spot on, in the sense that they use alot of english words in anime

As GayAsianBoy says, most manga, light novels, or anime use foreign words (mostly from English) in their title, character names or items, though there's also a fair bit from other languages, such as German (Weiß Kreuz comes to mind). I'm actually rather impressed by their command of foreign words, especially given that the consonants aren't native to their own language. Many people can't even speak or write in their own language that well, much less incorporate foreign words.

Not sure why you think you've had 10 threads closed, though.. those couple you've created that were closed had explanation posts at the end, and there weren't very many...
