I'm mostly asking this because I have been debating weather or not it's worth it. I've been on the free trial for a week so that I could catch up with the current season of "Once Upon a Time" (which I know it isn't an anime but bear with me). As I was looking around on the site, I noticed how huge their anime library has gotten over the last few years and I thought it was amazing! There is at least over a hundred anime on there, from Lupin the 3rd and Galaxy Express 999 to Soul Eater Not! and Sailor Moon Crystal. And both the subs and dubs of most of the titles featured there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but having Hulu Plus doesn't take away the ads. Meaning that for watching anime, there is no advantage of Hulu Plus over just regular Hulu. As far as I know, there are no anime that are for Plus members only.

I do. Mostly for anime that isn't available on any legally streamed websites like this one.

I use hulu plus to watch over 200 anime titles even though the commercial ads are annoying but you'll get use to them. So its worth watching animes you hardly get to see now a days.

I wanted to watch Ghost in the Shell or Blue Gender (forgot which) on Hulu Plus, it wasn't available to watch via my ps3 (pc streaming only). Also all Hulu has ads.

So...crunchyroll FTW, you have no stupid restrictions like that plus no ads as I pay w00!

Hulu-plus was my go to source for a while there before I got CrunchyRoll, before that I just looked them up online. The quality is much better on Hulu than random websites. The only issue I found and it goes for CR and Netflix as well is the series are TV friendly. Random streams of blinding light or all engulfing shadows of the abyss prevail through some of the edgier titles.

Hulu is a great way to watch Sentai titles that are exclusive to TAN or Funimation titles without having to deal with Funimation's limited app support. If you watch anime on a streaming device in particular it's well worth it because Hulu supports just about as many devices as Netflix does.

Titles I've seen on it so far over the last month that don't stream elsewhere:
Hidamari Sketch
Tamako Market
Mm!
Cross Game
A-Channel
Maid Sama
Special A
Arakawa Under the Bridge
And yet the town moves

And a few more that I can't think of at the moment. And that's not even mentioning the Funimation titles I watched as well which is a whole other list! I had only bought it so I could watch Hidamari Sketch (I'm a huge studio Shaft fan), but I just kept finding more and more titles so I'll probably stick with it a while longer.

Hulu plus is my secondary anime streaming site, it's not bad, the ads can be annoying, however Plus gets you access to more titles in general, movies don't have ads, (shows seem to sometimes have less ads), the whole Criterion Collection of movies are available, plus mobile device access.
