Right between when one anime season ends and another begins there is that time where all you can watch are previews for the new animes, and you sincerely have nothing to do with your life. I've been looking for some good anime to watch between now and when new episodes for the summer season are coming out.

Here is my request for the series you recommend (I guess they may be rules. )

- It isn't super long, if it nears anywhere 100, don't recommend. I'm looking for short series which I might be able to finish in a shorter amount of time. (versus trying to start naruto and then catch up cmpletely.)

- If it's one of the top series on crunchyroll, I probably already watched it. (so don't even think of saying SAO/AOT or anything else thats up there)

- I don't really care what genre it is, but I don't want something that moves slowly. and I would rather there be minimal blood, in case your picking a show like that.

- good art? ( hopefully.)

- Don't recommend anything from the spring season or winter season. If its recent I've watched it recently. I want something I probebly haven't watched. (it the whole point right? ) I would rather you give me some unknown title that I probably haven't watched, then something popular that has been on crunchyroll recently that I probably have watched.

- You can definitely recommend something that isn't on crunchyroll, just tell me where I can find the episodes.

Thats it! Thanks for helping me. (Who knows, maybe you will find a new anime for yourself here!)

Bye!

1. There's already a thread for anime recommendations. You might want to post this there. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-7173/recommend-me-an-anime-read-first-post

2. I just started watching Our Home's Fox Deity, it has been really funny. The first couple of episodes were a little slow. But, once you hit the third episode, it really starts to pick up. http://www.crunchyroll.com/our-homes-fox-deity
Another one I like is Blast of Tempest. Great story, good art, and lots of Shakespeare references. http://www.crunchyroll.com/blast-of-tempest

Since the season's pretty much over I'm checking out shows related to the top 32 from the "Midyear Best Girl" tournament on here. Since I was having some difficulty picking out shows lately that helped me.

Otherwise, I'd probably end up recommending a show with blood or a slow burn type story.

Unfortunately, I don't think my two Crunchyroll favorites really meet your criteria. Instead, I guess I'll second Our Home's Fox Deity as a good choice and also recommend Level E.

I watch longer running series between the seasons. Currently rewatching HxH and Gintama :). might re-watch ghost in the shell.

I might wait a bit for this this next season to get to its halfway point before i start watching the new shows, so i dont need to wait twiddling my thumbs between episode release days.

I decided to fill my anime empty week with a rewatching of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée.

Outbreak Company, Cuticle Detective Inaba. Don't know your tastes or what you've watched. Might help.
