i can't seem to find the place for information about the License Restrictions.

i'm having issues watching a lot of anime because i'm from Denmark, which i don't know why.

I'm forced to watch a lot of anime on other web sites, because this is only something that happends with Crunchyroll.

Can someone please explain me, why i have those restrictions or link me to the "reading place"

i love the features of this website, but if it can't let me watch some of the animes i'm interested in. then i can't simple use the website ...I really wanna make CR the only anime-manga place for me. I hope i can get some help understanding the current circumstances.

When we license shows we strive to secure as many territories as possible, but sometimes our licensors do not have the rights to all territories available to license to us. In order to continue to support the industry and be a reputable partner, we need to enforce that the shows we have on our site are only available in the territories that we have secured the proper licenses for. If a video is not available in your region, we’re sorry and are unable to offer a solution for that specific show at this time. There are some exceptions, for example, we were able to gain worldwide rights for Naruto Shippuden for Anime Members.

For a list of all the shows that are available in your region, please checkout the links below:

to put it into simple terms, I suppose the publishers didn't acquire the licence for a particular country... therefore Crunchyroll can't show that show to that country.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

yea it sucks for you guys, just proxy it up if you really want to watch on CR. I'd just keep using your "other" sites.

Hi,

Sorry to close this, but most of the 'suggestions' break the site ToS - they fake your location information, which is a really, really bad thing.

The reason CR has licensing restrictions is that they're built into the licenses to show the anime/drama/manga. CR tries to get every region possible, but we can't always get that.. and CR has to abide by the terms of the contracts they sign. That also means making sure people don't fake their information to get around said licenses, unfortunately.. so using the suggestions listed above may get your account banned

Again, sorry, but it's the kind of stuff CR has to deal with in order to get the licenses to show anything anywhere..
