Noein was really good imo, I watched it a few years ago in like 2 sittings because I was enjoying it so much. I think this is a hidden gem, not a lot of people talk about it and not many people know about it. Glad you found it and like it, enjoy.

Never heard of it, so I looked it up.

Sounds like a hidden gem. Especially here for the states because it was aired surprisingly on TV by Sci Fi (back when it was actually called Sci Fi). No FUNi or CR or anyone else got it it seems for US.

It was apparently a part of SyFy's Anime block that suddenly disappeared back in 2011.

That said, it sounds interesting, so I may check it out if I can find it somewhere.

wow I havent heard that title in 7 years or so

I cant remember details , its pretty much scifi drama and romance .Dont know if I liked it or not but I remember the title Noein .Usually I forget when I dont like it.
But starting a discussion thread might be dificult since its not current.

I watched it on Ani-mondays as well. It aired at the same time as Now and Then, Here and There and they were two of the most messed up animes I had watched at that point. Now I know there are even more insane animes out there, but those two together were a special kind of crazy.

It's a pretty good anime. I actually recommended it against Blast of Tempest on Anime Planet. Very different stories but they sort of have the same over-all feel.

I would swear I saw it available for streaming at one time, but apparently that is no longer the case.

I suspect where I saw it was at Manga Entertainment's website or their YouTube channel (or in my case, on their Roku app), since many Ani-Monday shows were handled by them.

Oh I wouldn't know for sure either, since I only got into anime just like 2 years ago now.

Anything before that I just assumed was cartoons drawn differently, at least until maybe late high school when I actually noticed there was an actual difference.

That was the first boxset I bought. I liked it although the dub sucks in parts and some of the cgi sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't think it sold very well though, it must have gone out of print years ago but It's still easy to get hold of and cheap.

Forgive the slight necro, but I just started it tonight. Sadly there's no place to stream it legally, but I found a good deal on the whole thing from Amazon, so I may pick it up there. The animation and dub are kind of bad for the first episode, and it's only 2005, so I expected better, but I'm glad to hear so many good things about it.
