... 2nded -- but yet, it's still subscription based.

As for GW2... it was a let down for me.

What exactly is boring you? Not enough quests? More party-oriented missions? PKing?

Elder Scrolls Online was expected to be the biggest let down and why am I not surprised? It is!

Dupe Glitch at start? What did the testers doing the whole time? Seriously -_-
The payment for the game itself and monthly subscribers is not worth it in my opinion, they should've scraped the whole project and focus on Elder Scroll's VI

ESO is a fail, it's not an opinion. It's a fact. There's a reason why they let go multitude of employees.

There's tons of them. Lord of the Rings Online, Neverwinter, Swordsman, The Secret World, Archlord 2, Guild Wars 2, TERA, RIFT, Defiance, Aion, etc.

RIFT is definitely one of the better F2P MMORPGs out there.

I once played this game called haven and hearth.
It was a surreal experience about living alone in a post apocalyptic wasteland with few materials left to craft with.
Occasionally I would find evidence of previous life like cut down trees or a camp fire.
The only thing I accomplished in this game was eating a fish and getting eaten in turn by ants.

If u like Star Trek, play Star Trek Online, you can play well without spending real money there. Try Lords of the Ring Online, but i suggest paying for 1 month of subscription to unlock all characters annoyances and maybe spend some money on quest packs. Dungeon Dragons Online, is ok as free 2 play, but gets boring quick playing the same free quests over and over to reach level cap. If u like superheroes, try Champions Online or DC Universe Online, you can sorta play free there, but i lost interest with those game and didn't play to level cap.
Star Wars The Old Republic, they made it free2play but they made it SOOO annoying and no way to unlock that you have to subscribe till reaching level cap.

I'm guessing you like sword art online, so i'd recommend checking out Phantasy Star Online 2. It's not available in the US yet, but you can still dl and play the Japanese version along with an English patch. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Hmmm well Mabinogi is a pretty old but fun game, I would say. And since you have a Kirito Pic, Currently they are having some kind of weird cross-over with mabinogi and SAO. Free Yui as a .. partner if you log in on August 23th lol.

Most of the better ones are on the verge of death (since they're getting pretty old). The latest ones are mostly all P2W or linear messes that aren't worth your time.

Everyone's looking out for the ones that will be out in the near future like ArcheAge, Black Desert, and Everquest Next. My hope is placed on EQ:N out of the 3 I mentioned since they've been at it since EQ 1 and 2 and know how to make a good MMO. The other 2 have a high chance of becoming P2W. ArcheAge is super fun and balanced in beta, but we'll know during its full release. Really hoping otherwise though, it has so much potential.

I play Dungeons & Dragons Online. You can start for free and play 10 - 20 hours without too much duplication. Enough at least to start to get familiar with the game. It is complicated and starting decisions can 'gimp' your character. There is a forum with good build advice if you want some. It is not especially 'new player' friendly, but if you're lucky, you can find very helpful people.
