Beauty is Divine
Beauty is Peace
Beauty is Art
Beauty is Creative.
Like the stars in the sky, and the peaceful environment.
Beauty is all about what you see.
What you've witness that catches your eyes.
Not just about how you look.
No need to be ashamed if you're not as pretty.
But you'll always will be. No matter what you have.

I feel like media puts too much emphasis on beauty, therefore many people have a distorted view of what beauty really is.

I know a lot of girls my age that don't go out unless they have tons of makeup on, their hair fixed, and have the perfect outfit that "doesn't make them look too fat." They are constantly worried about their weight and go to extremes to lose it. I know many girls that are getting plastic surgery done. Boob jobs are very popular around here. I am 22, and I know of girls younger than me getting their breast size increased. For what though? I know it is nice to feel good about yourself but I feel like many young women have this false idea of what they need to look like in order to be considered beautiful. Men are being affected too, for all the models they see in magazines, all of the songs that degrade women and talk about how they want women with "fat asses" or what not, and then there's porn stars whom give the completely wrong impression of women. I feel like the idea of beauty changes over time. Years ago, pale and heavier weight was more beautiful. Now tan, super thin, but with curves is the idea of beauty. But really all of this is ridiculous. There should not be an ideal image. Because beauty is far deeper than just the physical.

To me, beauty is having a good heart. You can't help the way you look. Judging someone on their appearance is so shallow. And just because someone isn't physically appealing does not mean they are not beautiful.

This may sound cliche, but I often heard that it's skin deep.

There are really different kind of meaning of beauty but to make it simple it is a right word for "GOOD LOOKING" in fact many people always want to be look good that's why some of them wear the very expensive dress ,shoes including jewelry which i try before and bought one at http://www.laatukoru.fi/ .But the best beauty is not only in physical things it is also inside of a person that you are looking at.

I believe everything is uniquely beautiful. Even if you don't personally find it beautiful. Perhaps evil is, as well. As messed up as it sounds... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Someone finds something/someone beautiful one way or another.

"Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."

The end of John Keats' 'Ode on a Grecian Urn'. It's a short and interesting read. As for what he means by those lines... Well, I think the lack of explanation is kind of what makes it work, but I'm sure the sufficiently obsessed could find articles on the subject.

William Blake says 'Exuberance is Beauty'. I think that is a nice idea, and continues to be satisfying even upon further reflection, which is my measure of a good idea.

Attempts to define beauty abound in literature. It's an endlessly fruitful subject, apparently.

For myself, I know I am not beautiful. 100 years ago I would have been considered beautiful, I believe. My face is sadly out of fashion at the moment and I must rely on my other charms. But I think, actually, we are not using the full range of adjectives that we should to describe the world. Not everyone is beautiful, but there are other things to be besides ugly and beautiful. Faces can also be kind, honest, striking, expressive, noble, gentle, determined... the list goes on. Just because someone or something is attractive or appealing does not mean it is beautiful. Conversely, just because someone is beautiful does not mean that they are universally attractive, or even attractive at all.

Being okay with who You are, no matter the circumstance; realizing that We are ALL individuals, and in that case, something very special...and very beautiful, indeed. <3
