When the bad guys win?

This needs to happen more, I think. Even in movies. Sometimes, I wonder what it'd be like if the good guys actually lost at the last second.

That'd be too easy to make: Just cut the last five minutes of a shonen episode!

The main character doesn't have to be a guy I would like a bisexual reverse harem too.

More stories (like Baccano) where the end and the beginning are known and the adventure lies in seeing what happened in the middle.

I also enjoy stories where strategy and well thought out tactics lead to victory over pure 'I Win because I lvl'd up huehuehue!' plots.

Also something where a slightly less than regular guy or girl get transported to a fantasy land (a la Zero no Tsukaima) where they proceed to pull a Lelouche and take over the world via guile, manipulation, and charisma.

The concept you mentioned can be found in No Game No Life.

Gamer NEET and Loli sister get transported to a fantasy world where every conflict is resolved by strategy and board games.

Sora, the main male lead, has this aura of Lelouch with the charm and world domination but his funny side is what makes him different from Lelouch. He is also tactical and manipulative whereas his sister is the calculative one.

This is why I love NGNL, it's my favorite of this season. I was thinking of something a bit darker though, like No Game No Life without the laughs.

In terms of plot, I would be looking at destruction of genres

Breaking the stereotype of sports genre would make for an interesting plot.

I also want to see a true adventure anime story. Something about exploring that develops character, is not boring and looks amazing.

I also want to see an anime with an awesome story that involves an alien species completely different from humans.

I've always wanted to see one that was kinda like Shawshank Redemption but had it's own flair to it.

More westerns would be nice too. (Like a futuristic type or old school)

Isn't this essentially Code Geass?

Other than the fact that it is Japan being the occupying power, the setting takes place in California, doesn't have supernatural powers, is set in 2028 (compared to 2010 in their timeline, which the calendar is approximately 50 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar, making it take place in the '60s), follows a Japanese-American rather than a male of Anglo-Saxon descent, has a fictional wonder material that supplies nearly limitless power...

yes, it is essentialy Code Geass.

You might as well add in that Japan and Germany are currently at war in that timeline (possibly with the former US as the main battleground), as it seems inevitable that they wouldn't have remained allies after they carved up the world.

Assuming nuclear weapons were developed, they would probably at best be in a cold war type situation like the US and USSR were, and fighting wars by proxy.

I would definitely watch this one, as not only am I a sci-fi fan, but a real sucker for alternate timeline plots.

I would agree that Germany and Japan would have ended up in a similar Cold War, along with Japan taking the west coast of America, and Germany colonizing the east coast. I guess its somewhat similar to Philip K Dick's Man in the High Castle.

The biggest wildcard in any such situation would be the Soviet Union. Even if you remove the US giving material assistance to the Soviet Union early in the war, I'm not convinced the Soviet Union would have ultimately lost.

One factor that could have turned things would have been if Japan had also invaded the USSR. It is speculated that is the reason Hitler declared war on the US after Pearl Harbor; he was hoping Japan would reciprocate with the Soviet Union. If they had done so at that point, it may have well been enough to turn the tide.

One could also have Germany have been far more active in their nuclear weapons program, and actually developing nuclear weapons. Or winning the Battle of Britain air war and invading Britain while postponing the invasion of the Soviet Union.

There are a number of scenarios that could have potentially resulted in Japan and Germany being the world's two great superpowers, but a common thread in most of them is the US being a lot more complacent (as was also the case in The Man in the High Castle).

Frankly, I think it could make one hell of an anime.

It would be nice to see more anime where the main characters are a family (mom, dad, siblings, etc.)

Also, I'd like to see an anime in which there is no dialogue, all pantomime. And words would be replaced with music and other sounds.

Yuri harem, and yaoi for the girls.

Alternate history anime. Preferably set in one of the World Wars. Like if Germany won WW2 or America never dropped the nukes and how Japan would be without them. (I'm actually working on a story based in the Great Depression, although with quite a few changes)

More anime based in dorms. After watching the amazing drama Sakura Hall offered and the comedy from Kawai Complex I want more.
